Turning fans on

Hey quick question. My seeds have sprouted and have their first few leaves and it’s been about 4 days since they sprouted. I’ve heard from a few people that I should turn a fan on to let the stem strengthen.

Just wondering at what point is this usually recommended?

i have fans on straight away, some contradictory stuff about fans strengthening stems some people say it does work and some say it doesn't
Thank you! I had them on earlier but I am in a tight space and it was drying out my environment a little more than I wanted too. I think it’s safe to switch on now though.

keep an eye on it, I doubt there will be any problems though unless you put your fans too close

Fans are great, i feel like they strengthen the stems.

I also have some small barbecue skewers that i'll use to support a seedling if i need to. Stick it in the ground close to the stem, open up a paper clip and gently press (not hard) to keep things in place. This allows you to continue to use the fan with a weaker seedling.

Thanks for the advice! I turned them on!
