i havent been on here in a while but im attempting to turn a empty room in my apartment into my personal bud laboratory:mrgreen: This will be my second ever grow. However this is my first time i will put all my effort and money into it. Ill be using HPS and MH lights for the first time as well. I plan to buy 2 600 watt MH lights and 2 600 watt HPS lights and maybe a third 600 or 1000 watt HPS light. The room is 9ft by 12ft on the 8th floor of a 15 story apartment. Its located in one of the corners of the apartment which helps out. I want to split the room into two, one for veg and one for flower. This is where i need some advice. I want to know if there is any other way i can split the room into two without putting up false walls. I already have to carry up all the other equiptment as well as the plants without going detected up the tiny elevator. Carrying up a bunch of wood boards would draw unwanted attention. I was thinking about buying two large grow tents but it's my last option because it is a bit pricey. So is there any strong material i can use to turn my room into two? Maybe a poly fiber sheet? any methods and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also i have jalouisies as windows and would like to completely seal them off. Any ideas or methods on sealing them off? Ill be using both windows for the intake and exhaust fans as well as a carbon filter. Also do i have enough light and space to have 40-50 clones vegging and 40-50 flowering at one time? Please any advice or information is greatly appreciated. I have two weeks to turn this empty room into my personal lab:mrgreen::mrgreen:! hopefully i get to start my first ever grow journal:mrgreen:

Look into panda film, the black and white poly film. You can split off an area by hanging it from the ceiling. see more buds 2 is where i got the idea.

Basically that is the only way, with out using alot of materiel. Apartments are bad for growing too, i would double up on the carbon filters, by double up i mean use an over size filter made for a bigger room. You dont want your smell going in their windows. As far as the windows, i have no idea what kind of window that was that you mentioned, but my windows i board up from the inside. You gotta make it look natural though. If the windows are inset into your wall then i would use blinds then curtains, both inset in the window frame. Sealed with plywood, cardboard, black plastic, etc. Although plywood i think would be best, because it's rigid you can mount intake/exhaust fans. Then seal the wood with caulk or prefably use ultra wide black electrical tape( i suggest the tape cause you have an apartment, caulk on the wall could be hard to get off without some work or could cause you to loose your security deposit, electrical tape comes off fairly easy with little to no residue expecially if used on a flat or satin painted surface). As far as having enough space for all your happy little plants, you should be ok. I like to grow using the sea of green method. You grow short and you grow many together, i believe you get bigger and faster yields that way. I hope all this helps cause it took me 2 hours to type this, i type during NCIS commercials lol :joint:
