Is it advisable to put two plants in one 10 gallon smart pot. I will be using coco coir my grow area is 2.5 x 4.5 by 5 tall. 400 watt led and 4 four foot t5 ho lighting.

I just bought these pots. I thought I could put them to use. Will roots interfere not allowing both plants to grow?

I will just use the pots for one plant.

You are going to have to veg for a long ass time in order for a plant to fully colonize a ten. Just saying, and make sure you have enough aeration/drainage or the roots will be sitting in a perched water table..

I have a drain tub for the pot. So aeration as well as drainage should not be a problem.

done this before as an experiment . final results one plant dyed in flower . and I never had a plant dye before until I tried this for fun , one plant would not drink water .

I veg 2 months using 20-gallon smarts and the roots do fill that. No root binding either. Just use gradated transplants and don't toss a seedling into one and expect quick results.

How long does it take for a seed to sprout?
I sprout mine in Miracle Gro Moisture Control soil on a seedling mat. Almost 100% germination in 3 days with sprouts up.In 4 they are all up. Then to party cups etc. I plant in the 20's when they can fill a 3 gallon kitty litter container. Usually around 4 to 5 weeks. If you plant the seedling directly in the 20 it will take forever to get going.
