I vape pure CBD bud daily and also take CBD isolate powder. Also vape regular bud. Still got covid, had unpleasant symptoms for a week, nothing lung or throat related though.

IMO we could get rid of most of the benefit to the corporations but that requires electing reformers into government. Unfortunately people are easily lead to be adverse to electing reformers.
