UFO LEDS ,,, recommendations

they are the same quality. both use cree leds. hans also has osram deep red leds... a51 has a better warranty. both will last a while. honestly its a toss up. the hans 65 watt will be $290 with shipping and the 80 watt will be $315 with shipping . all hans panels are sold out til the 28th.. a51 does free shipping.. the a51 price isn't definite. they seem to drop the price shortly after release.. i think getting both would be cool though.

yeah true...
too many tough decisions with this LED caper

Chinese LEDS do work, if your gonna get ufos though get the 180's so at least your getting like 90 ish watts a panel. I am having great experience with these and I also have expensive leds to compare them too. They all work, fuck the naysayers.

I'd check out the following links if you're interested in UFOs:

http://growblu.com/shop-led-grow-lights/ufo-led-grow-lights (not too shabby, this is probably the UFO i'd try out...can also get direct from Cidly - see below)

Or you can go with the OG UFOs, which are older leds and still pretty expensive for how old they are (but, hey, at least they're proven):

As far as Kessils go, I like them more than most people. I think the issue with them is that people expect too much out of such a small light. I haven't done a full grow with just a kessil as the only light source, but i did use an h350 magenta as a supplemental light before and I liked what it did for its size and wattage. About the size of a soda can and was about 75 or 80w when i hooked it up to the kill-a-watt meter. $250 at growershouse.com is probably the best price I've seen them at, might be able to find one for a bit cheaper. I still think about putting a few on the goosenecks and arranging them around my tent.

If by UFOs, you actually mean small lights/panels, round lights do not blend well when using multiples- square is easier to work with.

Most ufos are old tech. Individual diodes have cheap plastic lenses that reduce effective light, and prone to discolor over time

I recommend you check these out

Great price (220w actual)

or if space or money is is tight... 120w actual. Add more as you need them. IMO, better than one large panel
