What's the game with charging cash up front customers more than people who are billed.
When the fuck did paying up front ever cost more?

Prepayment is an excuse to fuck people not a reason.

Because they are greedy fecken bastards.......
Which be even more reason to drop the tax. They are about to waste a whole fuck ton of money having us pay the tax on electricity bills only to give it back in the form of a electricity rebate and a council tax rebate. Surely it would be cheaper in the long run to just not have the tax.

Yeah... you'll need more heat.... kinda ends up about the same cost... in electric. Better buds tho
Canopy temps are 27c, its something I'll be fine tuning this week. I'm not overly confident it'll work in a 4x8 and may just drop down to a 4x4.

At the moment I am paying £0.215p per kWH. We will see how it goes. I imagine that will be 33p per kWH before too long. The Chancellor has announced I should be getting £350 per year in rebates. I will believe that when I see it.
Hope that works out for you, can then pay a months energy bill lol

wow 33P per kwh jesus christ

here the highest tier is like 13 cent which is like 0.075P. what a world we live in
Yes and I've told it'll go higher by the end of the year.

Just as Shell announce they're celebrating 14 fold increase in profits.

Punishing the most needy in our community, I never got that either.

Problem is we're getting our gas from Putin
We get 48% from our own backyard, (UK Continental Shelf) with the other 52% from international markets. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-gas-supply-explainer

We get a third from Norway with the rest made up of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) coming from US, Qatar and think only 5% from Russia. Russia does supply about 40% of the EU's gas supply so they're fucked if they go against him with the Ukraine.

I would like to know how many of the Tory front bench have shares in energy companies or crude oil!

Ed miliband on gmtv today said that Rishi Sunak will not go after the windfall tax on profits of big energy companies etc as most of them are Tory supporters and throw money into the Tory pot. Ffs.
What's THAT doing back in parliament ? Thought we'd got rid of him and his brother to the US lol.

No surprises there mate, always follow the money trail. We are in the most corrupt times imaginable. Did you see them write off £10 Billion for useless PPE / storage ? £10, 000, 000, 000 just gone into thin air, that is fucking criminal. And as we know that's just a drop in the ocean to what they've spent the past two years with their mates and lining their own pockets (Hancock and the pub owner, Hancock and his sister, it goes on and on).

Water boards at it now lol, livable increase of £6 a month but they're warning me its going up again come April. My parents have seen a 6 fold increase from £5 to £37, we are all on water meters. Made me laugh thou, letter from water board states I'm £20 in credit.

I'm sure every one is aware of the cost of living going up but make sure your set by April as inflation is set to rise to 7-7.25%.

Yep fully agree.

Everything continually goes up.

I bought my house in 2005, monthly council tax was £63 pm. Now? £131 pm. I see no benefit from that increase. Roads are still fucked! Refuse collections have gone to every other week, now need to pay for garden waste separately. Localised council services have even reduced etc.

I’m expecting my monthly DD for elec and gas to increase from £209pm to around £300pm.

i haven’t had a fucking pay rise since around 2012 (local gov worker) so for me my pay has stayed the same but everything else has gone up.

its a shit show!

made worse by the over spending on fucking pointless vaccines and PPE to combat a virus that’s not even anything to worry about for 99.8% of the population.

My exact same scenario. What gets me is the wife works for the NHS, you can get more working in McDonalds.

I get the same as a local government bin man, I work in a local high school as the IT guy (tech support) I’m the only one looking after nearly £500k of equipment ffs.

I’m currently going through job evaluation which when done should see my salary scale top out £5k higher than I am on now.

if I don’t get the evaluation or Salary that should be correct then I’ll go and do 4on 4off 12 hour nights in a local factory for £30k a year with no responsibility.
