Uk loft grow. Do I need to insulate ?

Hi ROI,
Just wondering what to do with regards to heat output from a loft grow. The loft is not insulated at all its just tiles but what I'm looking to do, depending on the measurements, is put either a 4x4 tent with a 600w in there or a 4x8 with 2 600's.

First question is would the heat of the tent cause the loft space to heat up noticeably to the Feds if the exhaust heat is extracted into the house ?

Also would exhausting the heat to the rear of the house through vents in the corner of the loft cause an issue ? Exhausting into the house is really a last resort because it will compromise stealth.

I know there's a lot of mixed opinions on the subject of heat exhaust but I can't afford to take a big risk so il do what it takes but at the same time i suspect the heat cameras from police is really a lot of scare tactics. i mean are do those size grow really produce much heat ? I'm used to using LED's which give off virtually no heat. Anyway any advice will be gratefully appreciated.

Really doubt copper choppa would notice that they would notice your radiators fire or boiler burning away to so doubt they could but they do do flyovers that's true but their looking for warehouses n Shit n full houses rigged out imagine how they would look compared?

The more insulation you have the better, venting hot air back into your house is safer than venting it anywhere else. If you put a thermometer above your tent near ceiling and it is lot hotter than normal loft temperatures then it may appear in Flir. Heat is how Flir works. Good luck.

your in the UK the rule of law is different there then here .........but yah think about this the amount of guns your guys own due the to the control inplace over there so all that unspent money can go to other equipment ........as here in the USA flair cameras are on the cop choppers along with hand held units in a few of the squad cars

u want to hide then order yourself some IR blocker it will hide the HID from the camera

look for that in your market ......it is very important u do not brake the mylar cover or pop the bubbles those 2 things make a barrier that blocks the IR from seeing

as for venting .....i am guessing they have a dryer vent built into the place ......hole tho wall or a vent pipe too roof that that dryer vent hooks on too.....put the tent near that and vent out tho that using insulted ducting ......put the IR up on top and around the sides .......if u have to make a frame and put the tent in there and then use IR around the top 60%

to get tho the ir blocker get a piece of cardboard trace a circle that is large enough to let pass the ducting tho cut it out then use that on top of one of the sheets u use cut it out of the if blocker......when u hang the blocker u want overlapping do not try to edge them together if it opens up later defeats the whole reason 2/4 inch overlap

np man .......good karma saves my ass on daily case

the last peice of advice i can offer is just some simple tricks to avoid getting noticed
1 never sell small sacks u are a artisan grower now .....OZ only
2 only sell to as few ppl as possible let them resell it for their own profit
3 set a name up the ppl can say they got it from ......i am Omar .......this way if someone is looking they can call and ask if u seen Omar ....code to u means they want to re up
4 your house/loft is off limits to anyone that is not a grower that u have info on ........rats u out u rat them out ......all other ppl have no need to know anything about what u are doing
5 if u do allow ppl over ......set a cut off time mine is 10 pm at that time i do not care they are out of my house so it looks normal (no foot traffic at all hours )
6 turn off your house phone cancel any cell phone that is in your name ........u use prepaid cell phones or a phone that is listed in another person name ......every few months u change the number only give it out to the ppl that u trust /family friends (sooner or later one of them will fuck up and share the number u will get calls from ppl u do not know that is when it is time to get a new phone track down who gave out the number and swift kick in the balls)
7 u are not to drink or carry anything on u ........u will set off drug dogs your clothes will smell like weed after awhile your whole place will set off dogs from transfer (u are in there working get oils on hands then u touch something the oils transfer .....as time goes on everything gets this ) so drug dogs will bark at u like u have 5 lbs on yah ...........so carry nothing if u have to take something go for joints worst case u can eat them
8 your spending ........what money u make in selling u keep only part of it in cash turn the bulk of it into silver (buy troy oz bars or coins) u sit on the silver it gains value ........when u want something big u take and cash the silver in for money ( u have made the money clean took the dirty drug money converted it to silver then sold the silver back for a profit ) u can use that money for big things likes cars and houses since u have proof where it comes from .......the cash u keep u only use it for food/dates/gas for cars.....simple avg daily stuff .........u have to keep living on the legal money u make until u have enough bars to sell to buy what u want .............if they ask u how u can do this tell them u been saving cash buying and storing bars away had enough so sold them got what u wanted
9 if u need to u can convert the cash into prepaid credit cards........keep the value of them under 4000 (3999) 4000 is the reporting limit here in usa ....double check your limits...but u fill the card from a store and use it when the card is used up toss it and get a new one ( never refill a card once u used it up )
10 the credit card and silver buys and cellphones .........u do this in mom and pops stores u know with a shitty camera system that overwrites every 24/72 hours or every 30 days ........this leaves no proof it was u as u paid for it in cash .....they have nothing to take to court to show it was u

Couple of those every year...

Blocking the light alone doesn't make a huge difference if you exhaust in the same space. HPS grow exhausted out of window (really 1 x600watt will show up if you exhaust 28c and it's 20 or whatever outside). Ideally exhaust into the chimney.
