On a philosophical level, I am big on the personal liberty idea. You should be able to be a racist and put up your sign in your crappy diner. I am free to say that's bullshit and I don't want racist meatloaf so will go down the street. Free markets and free will, yadda yadda. . . . . .
I heard a black comedian on NPR talking about rebel flags on stores, gas stations and diners in the south. He said, "I love them. It lets me know which places to stay out of."

You saying “both sides “
Is complete bs and you know it
Don’t try the moral high ground on me
And yet here you guys are throwing in 100% on your “team.” I think it’s because I’m a dual citizen and lived much of my life overseas that gives me a different perspective, but I swear it’s nuts to have people like you believe you are on the just and right side. You’ve drunk the kool-aide boy. And you can’t put that off to some trump supporter saying it either, people like you aren’t helping the country, not hurting it as much as those you despise, but you’re on the same slope.

Well it’s all fun and games till you’re homeless because nobody will rent to you because of your race. Laws are there for good reasons that fortunately for most people they will never experience or have to deal with.

Pfizer et al's data gonna be harder to get than who killed JFK!
Everyone knows who killed JFK. When the shots started from above, the chase car hit the gas and the SS agent's M16 had an accidental discharge when he sat down hard on the back of the back seat. (The xrays of the brain shows round spheres of lead, meaning it had melted on impact and hardened back after it hit the grey matter. Meaning it was a high velocity round)

LBJ wouldn't let them within a 1/4 mile when he was down in Texas.

Makes perfect sense, people who are already sick with it begging for vaccines. For that to be true the person would have to not understand how a vaccine works. If somebody gets the flu they might ask their doctor for tamiflu, but they wouldn’t ask for the flu vaccine. So yes, even though the story has a quote from a doctor saying, “all my patients are asking for the vaccine before I put breathing tubes in,” I don’t believe it. And I’m sure, with 600k+ dead there has to be some incredibly stupid people who have died who don’t understand how vaccines work who might ask for it on their death bed, but i still think this stinks of propaganda. Which is great, the masses are idiots and should be controlled and tricked into doing what they should.
I forget exactly who it was, as my boss and me run in different social circles, but she was telling me about one of her friends' dad asking for the vaccine after going to the ER with covid. She told him, "it's too late for that, Daddy."

I call bullshit on hospital's manipulating civid results to get more reimbursements.
Haha you should talk to someone in medical billing. Its another grift of the covid theater. They were directed to do this by the government. Its not manipulating results by any means. Cause you dont have to test or have a positive diagnosis of coof to code and bill for covid19. But this set of codes, not data, is used by media to further the fear pandemic.

I do see the issues with the left/dems that the get pointed out, there is a disturbing authoritarian undertone quite often, dissent gets shouted down, etc.

But dammit, the other side of the argument is out there demanding to put horse medicine up their butts. The argument is so dumb, and what's getting pushed as the counter to the dems is so not acceptable that you just kind of go along with your side.

It is kind of like "hey, John brown was probably wrong to kill all those slave owners." "Slavery didn't exist! It's the democrats that are the party of the klan!"
...well fuckit, I'm just going to not be on the side that believes in made up shit.

So you are saying that hospitals are lying about the patients having the virus because of 'the government'?

I call bullshit, and you laugh and pretend you have superior knowledge because some accountant is typing in a code somewhere down the line? Are you saying that hospitals are putting every patient over the last almost 2 years as 'covid' so that they can get paid extra, or are are you saying that they are fudging it a little so that it doesn't look obvious? Even though the government said it is ok (based on your bullshit statement, which is not much to go on)?

Just because you want to believe the troll about hospitals doing this doesn't make it true.

What choice do the Democrats have though? If you follow the through line of any of the bullshit narratives that the Democrats have to combat to shut down, it almost always is coming from some right wing troll talking point trying to 'both sides' issues.

I’ve thrown my faith in with the scientist who understand things I’ll never start to begin to really understand. Drives me nuts that people who barely graduated high school think they know better than the best minds in the world.
Worth noting, in this particular case, there are two sides and one has quite thoroughly rejected science and that side happens to align with one political party.

It's sort of like the decision gets made for you. Personally, it's a "well not that" type thing so you just sort of defacto wind up on a side. Given the current climate, man I am not trying to do anything to oppose the people that oppose science.

...boy howdy I didn't explain that very well.

Yeah, it is what it is. There are very valid criticisms that you can make on any topic under the sun, those can't be made as the pipeline is clogged with demon sperm and claims of treason for eating Dijon mustard.

It would be so nice if we could have very good discussions on the important topics. Especially ones that don't have to stop for a commercial break and then not pick up again because some bimbo wanted to make the national news so she made a shitty racist joke sucked all the oxygen out of the news cycle.

Shit Biden signing the biggest infrastructure bill in American history barely made any splash at all. And now everyone is back on to crying about how the Democrats have to do everything else left on their plate in their first year.

It is nuts.

Youre not spelling incorrectly so you're not drunk? Must just be born stupid. Because what I type is misconstrued by your subpar comprehension. Ive never said hospitals are doing anything to results.
Shrink your amygdala bud, would help you out.

You got me, I am stupid. Thank you for helping me realize it.

That must be why I don't just buy some troll narrative about hospitals lying about patients with the virus because you said so.

I guess ignorance is bliss.

I’m not so sure about it being one party. Historically what do we have? A little over 50% of the people actual vote? Every Republican I know is vaccinated. I would agree that a higher percentage of republicans are not vaccinated compared to democrats, but there are plenty of stupid people everywhere.

That is true. It is not all one party. Kind of like the whole every square is a Rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square thing.

Not every Republican is a anti-science nut, but (almost at least politically) every anti-science nut is a Republican.
