Venting Times - How Often, Long?

I am setting up a growing space and will be using an 8" Elicent in-line fan (650 CFM), an 8" Phat Filter, Air-Cooled Reflector with 8" flanges. The room is about 7X8X8. How do I figure for how long and for how often to run the fan, or do you just flip the switch and let er ride? Appreciate any help. I have searched and found wide ranges of what people say THEY'VE done but no real rationale for why or how they came to decided on times and lengths.

Since that is your exhaust for the space, run it 24/7.

One of these is a very nice addition. It'll speed the fan up when the room gets above yer desired set point..and it'll run slow at another set point when the lights er off...keeping SOME air flowing and the smells in check.

Yep, I figure I am vey close. Love to find one of those switches on he used. I am going to keep looking for stuff used to expand later, too. Surprising how many less that "adroit" folks there are who jump in with both feed, botch the first grow and then bail for coins on the buck.....

Why, indeed, though I'll wager there is a huge difference in "drop out" rates among those interested in makng a buck and those that are doing it for personal use - even excluding the medial folks.
