Someone said it was at least $8 per month, what do you guys think?

I think you need to find out the electricity cost where you live and do the math. It varies. Nobody can tell you the cost to run the light without knowing the cost of the electricity.

Find it’s actual wattage draw from the wall and workout how much power it uses per hour.

Find out your kWh price from your supplier is and multiply it by the amount of hours you plan to run the light.

It’s not hard. Really.
