Looking fabulous Dr! Those leaves are huge!!
thanks ECM. :D its so nice to see you, mate. its been too long. whats shakin’?:blsmoke:

just finished up a rez change and bucket clean. nice long white fish tail roots exploding. stickin with around 4 mls of Flora Nova Grow coming in at approx 420, a nice solid number. :) combined with fresh reverse osmosis water. thats it. simple and successful.

it was time to switch out those large potting planters to the shorter metal stands . the light is at 26 inches from canopy , as recommended by @ViparSpectra Grower ;)

my stretcher bars bars for my scrog frame got lost in fedex mail so they are sending out another order fast track on Monday.

have a nice weekend!
cheers

Hey Dr! I'm going well thanks mate, I hope you are too? Thanks for the kind welcome :)

I am just amazed at how fat those leaves are hey, you have got them well dialled in now! Look forward to seeing them flower. I don't reckon they'll stretch very much either.

Doing well. I just moved to California and started a new job and this new grow. It’s awesome being in a legal state again. After living in communist Florida and around so many cops , I don’t want to do that again. Like Nebraska and Tennessee were trying to recruit me , no fucking way.. I need to grow my weed without the stress of being arrested and fined. Being able to go buy some really good weed in the store is such a nice treat. How is your garden growing and any new keeper strains ? You are so right on about the fat leaves. I find a lot of young plants get them and especially the Indica dominant. Sometimes they end up outgrowing the fat leaves and then the leaves get a lot skinnier. It’s fun to see the progress. You nailed it on recognizing the short stature of these two. They are very short and not stretchy at all. Now I have to try to figure out how flexible they are and how much I can Stretch them without breaking the branches. That’s always tricky when working with a new strain. Great seeing you around. Thanks for stopping by and chatting. It’s always fun.

Oh that's wonderful to hear mate, sounds like you landed on your feet where you are and the loss of stress to grow would be massive!

I'm so keen to see how your girls go, they have me very intrigued! I'm sure if you have some good garden stakes you could get those branches pretty thick haha.

Thanks for having me along mate and take care. Easty

Yes, it’s so nice! The leaves are so dark green. The darkest green I have ever had on any marijuana plant I have ever grown. It’s almost shocking… and I think to myself, too much nutrient! ? But it’s only 420!! Must be the powerfully nutritious light or the incredibly brilliant genetics!!! And ….please give my kind regards and a warm hug to Flowamasta for me. I do miss him and his monster scrogs. I placed an order for 2 more small Hurricane clip on fans and some drain pans for my other little coco project going on next door. ;):D

Yes they sure are, very green and lush! They'll tell you if it's too much for them. As you said, I think you have just hit that perfect combo of light and nutrients for them so they are loving life!!
Oh for sure, I'll definitely pass on your regards to Flowa. I miss his grows too, they were epic to watch!
Looking forward to seeing your little side project too, sounds awesome!!

This is my set up. The 6 in inline fan on the ground with ducting is being shared for intake air for both tents….other than that they each have their own air filters connected to fan and they each have their own digital temp/hum and fan speed controller on the wall. I am NOT utilizing this space very well at all. The 3 baby one gallon seedlings in the camo tent should be in with the waterfarms In the 4 by 4 tent but I don’t have tall enough pedistalls for them to be at the appropriate height for the light . This is something I need to work on . I could be growing so many more plants then i am now. totally wasting energy . Plus the room is getting a lot hotter with 2 lights on. It’s a fun project! 60617D02-E334-4843-8FAE-80CDFD81EEA4.jpeg

That's a pretty good set up Dr! Yeah it could be used more efficiently but it's clean and tidy at least!

Thank you. It is very important to keep it clean. I power sprayed the outside of the house which had about 20 black widow spider webs all around the house and had not been cleaned in at least 3\4 years. I don't want any bugs getting inside the house and possibly creeping into the tent. :bigjoint:
Hmmm ... so Dr., have you harvested any crops grown under a Viparspectra product?
no, not yet, this is the first shot. I am very impressed so far, about 5 weeks into it.

What about keeping the 4x2 for drying, clones, etc. That way you keep the 4x4 always running.
Great idea. I think that is what i will do. I don't know what I would do with out your help. Its important to look at life at very different angles. I appreciate your persepctive.

It’s all set up now , ready to flower.:leaf::)
i am a huge Fan* of air circulation:blsmoke:
The thing I love about my scrog frame is the ability to clip the Hurricane fans in the most versatile locations and adjust so easily.
It’s starting to really get exciting! Ready to watch this space explode.
Thanks for tuning in. Have a nice weekend!

Hold on ... you made a good sturdy frame with a nice taut mesh and you are already talking about going to flowering? Were you not gonna VEG a little longer and weave the branches through that netting? Spread your girls wide and take advantage of the sturdy frame with the taut mesh.

Lol, you read that correctly! Yes I am going into flowering so that means no more VEG. I will be spreading the girls wide and weaving branches. Plants still actually grow during flowering. It’s a wonderful thing.

So is that why all the tops go white and rounded and furry cause they plants are actually still growing? 8-)

Respectfully good Dr. - we'll agree to disagree. I have read where others also do SCROG training when in flower. I weave while the ladies are still in VEG cause the branches are much more pliable. And I can fill each 2' x 2' section with plant material increasing the bud potential and ultimately final yields.

The SCROG nets are in place:

I anticipate some weaving to start this coming weekend:
