Waiting for May in Oregon

The Farmer's Almanac seems to think that the PNW is going to have the best summer in years......i think i agree:) Petert: It's just dumb luck that my alias is a double entendre of goodness. Originally, I started jimmyconway as my PlayStation Network id, where I play copious amounts of Call of Duty (robert dinero's character in Goodfellas "fuck you, pay me.") , but I did grow up playing soccer as well and Jimmy-C did a lot for Oregon soccer (clive charles as well eh?).

Knew Clive very well too. My son played at UP, but started the year after Clive died. Was good friends with Tony Betts and a lot of the old Timbers Crew.

I'm hoping for a good summer too..But my main concern is September and early October! My son is getting married October 12...so after 12/15 or so..let er rip!

Lets keep in touch..I also ahve some interest in a very promising grow in WA ..As in massive!

Yeah..My Raspberry Kush coulda used at least another week and the Blue MaGoo another two weeks. Oh well. No one complained still got great bud.
Hey Petert: how was your experiance growing Blue Magoo? It's one strain i'm VERY INTRESTED in growing. So many good hybrids have come from a cross of DJ Shorts Blueberry & the other side is one of my all time favorites..a Williams's Wonder F2 (MLB). Where i grew up in Washington, "the Willys" was almost all we smoked..ever since junior high school. I haven't got to try Blue Magoo yet, but have read/watched many strain reviews & it seems like a great strain, &a heavy yielder? Thanks for any additional info, S.J.

I'd give MaGoo and B for yield..A+ for great smell, It was an off year for finishing..typically going to early October is no problem for me in the eastern side of the gorge, but I got hammer along with everyone else in Oregon and WA..I cut her maybe two weeks early..But it was still some tasty shit!!

I'm in WV and just ordered some HeavyWeight Fast and Vast autos that I'm pretty excited about. I've never messed with autos but these sounded too good to pass up. I've been outside messing around in my garden for about two weeks now waiting for May to come around and getting anxious. Hope everyone has a great and bountiful grow season!

you have stuff under 8 weeks ?
I guess I should have said 9 weeks or longer.

I'm growing a lot of OregonGreenSeed strains this year and they for the most part are 45-60 day finishers. I picked out two TGA Genetics strains that are also 56 day finishers. That said..there really is no claim for an exact date finish. I'm trying to finish and chop by October 1. I've also grown Cinex for the past two years and they have finished at or just before Oct 1 as well.

Some of my seed starts are already over 2 feet..By mid-May I should be planting some 4 footers in the ground.

I am..I made three more from my left over materials this year. The Raspberry Kush is a Goodie..Last year Septmber kicked my ass with the most rain in recorded history in Oregon. We usually get less than .25 in for September..last year we nearly 5 inches. Threw out well over a pound of huge, fatty colas that got the rot!
We had 6.5 in 10 days. I lost probably more than half of my outdoor garden and chopped all my guerrila. F'in sucked!

What strains are you growing growpro? I've got more strains started than I can grow...Kind of a fun situation to be in.

Peter

I have several freebie seeds from my herbies order last winter, and some white widow big bud and purple kush. I want to grab one more strain from Oregon seed bank that they breed for our area too.
