Washing your buds after harvest?

5 gallon bucket from home depot filled with water and h2o2(used ed Rosenthal water to h2o2 ratio) then gently dunk plant in, after dunking hang upside down with fan directly blowing across for 1 day or until no longer wet. After all that water is out I move my fan back a bit so it's not so much directly on and then cure/dry like normal placing into jars with boveta packs in 3-5 days or when nearly snappy stemmed.
Thank you! Definitely gonna try this out when I harvest.

If you are growing any decent yield, this is not a technique you will enjoy doing for any other reason than to remove pm. Too much of a pain in the ass.

I don't have PM and yeah there's alooot of branches I'll need to dip in but I don't mind, I'd rather do it and have clean buds. Especially because before I had my tent I just had the plants exposed to the environment of my home which I have 3 kitties wandering around constantly so I'd like to make sure there's nothing I wouldn't wanna smoke on the buds.

If you foliar or have cat hairs all over your bud you will wanna wash. Also mite carcasses are nasty.

The fan action described above isnt necessary. My best washed bud was washed and rinsed, laid on racks for about 36hrs room tem, avg humidity then hung for about 7 days. The initial drying at 55-65 rh is critical for a good cure. Once youve got it nicely dried then jar it up witb boveda and a hygrometer. if you get readings close to 70rh you need to keep the jar open and drop that number closer to 65rh before you close up the jar.

Shit..I live in the desert so my homes RH is always less than 30%. I got away with it during growing because my air conditioner in there also functions as a humidifier. Any idea how to make sure it doesn't dry so fast? Should I just leave all my fan leaves on and manicure after they're dry?

I think you might need an actual humidifier. Ive read that the enzymatic action that cures the bud is halted when rh is below 45/50.

Maybe you could use vented jars with bovedas and gauges inside and just keep your eye on the readings. Open n close the jars move buds around and engineer it to be low 60s???? maybe

I think I'm gonna repurpose my tent into a drying room while they're drying since the RH in there is always around 60Rh~. I ordered a pack of 62% bovedas for a perfect cure and a hygrometer so I can keep an eye on what's going on in the jars. Pretty stoked to harvest plants this big.

Exciting bud, sounds like a solid plan. Good luck.

So just to make sure I'm understanding this proper .........this is only done when ALOT of foiler spraying has been used or bug sprays or pm or budrot have been present........NOT on healthy plants???not being cheeky guys I've not heard of this before and it does sound pretty drastic.........personally I would have thought it would damage a plant..........interested......

Bud rot cannot be saved. I'm doing it because I own a few cats that have been around the buds and I don't want to smoke cat hair, it's also for dust, other hairs, etc. if you have no reason to do it then I don't see why ya would, just up to you. Not damaging to do.

Recently vegged a newer-genetics plant large and had the main stem snap, destroying the plant. That hasn't happened in a while, maybe I didn't give it enough wind during the process so it was weaker.

So I know Jorge Cervantes is a legend among the cannabis growing community and he knows his shit but I'd like some second opinions as I'm thinking about trying this this upcoming harvest. Whatcha guys think? Anyone try it before?
Really? His BS is still hanging around? Water curing is an option though...if you dont mind or want to smoke weed that has no taste or smell.
