Waterfarms

Dont run a tee from your res and you don't need a bigger res either. If your plants aint in sync regarding feeding 2 different grows you will be fucked. Just use 2 pumps in ya res and stagger feeding times so ya res dont run short of nutes trying to feed 2 grows at the same time.

Should I just run two sep farms?
I've been a fan of Water Farm's for about 10-12 years. They actually offer a system of 8 modules connected to their controller and reservoir. They are plumed this way. Water is pumped up a column in the controller and causes the nutrient solution to get aerated as well as 24/7 circulation (1 air pump on always). Then a second air pump does the columns in each module on the schedule you determine (timer) and uses the top feed ring to water each plant separately. They are all plumed in series starting with the controller (water out) and through each module to the last module where the water returns to the controller. Therefore, a single Water Farm has one hole in it (for the sight tube) whereas the series method uses no sight tube (it is located on the controller only) and then each module has holes or tubing running the water in & out of each, then back to the controller. You can make all this yourself but I have found it to be cheaper to buy the whole thing from the start. The individual components are pricy. ALSO, I added 2 more modules to my 8 making a total of ten modules that work perfectly. If I could afford it for my main grow +/- 56 plant sites, I would use them, but alas, I cannot so I use the C.A.P. ebb & grow system similar to what is shown in the second post here (U wrote as "the useless one")! There are other top drip rings available, but nothing beats the growth vigor those Water Farms produce. I actually (always) see two separate root mass in them. One in the growth bucket (top) and one in the reservoir bucket (bottom).
You could plum two together but then you would need a way to control the liquid and a reservoir to boot. I just think it isn't worth all the work and equipment for two, but that's MHO. THE BIGGEST ROBLEM IS THAT YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE NUTRIENT REGIME FOR ALL THE MODULES AND THE PLANTS HAVE TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE, SO-TO-SPEAK...
