currently using ghe ripen. Label suggests i use 5ml/liter. Should i mix 2.5/liter since im watering twice a day or once 5/liter and once phed water?

In grow shop, consultant suggested 5ml/liter twice a day and when i checked runoff it was 3.4 ec. Since then i flushed with florakleen 3ml/liter.

I'd use it twice daily, using water afterwards will flush out the nutrient you're paying to put in.

To get such a high ec it sounds like your not feeding to run off sufficiently or you have a warm dry environment?

I’ve used GHE RIPEN before.

It’s basically a high sulfur “forcing” solution.

I ditched it years ago as it did nothing more than make the plants yellow out prematurely.

i much prefer now using increased Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom salts) from about week 4/5 of 12/12 for the increased S along with Mg.

additonal S increases terpenes and from what I’ve witnessed it appears to increase Trich production too.

When I did use GHE RIPEN I used it at the same EC my base nutrients were being fed at.

So if my base nutes had been used at 0.8EC I mixed up the RIPEN to 0.8EC however though it quickly became apparent that the lack of N and increased S P and K (0-6-5) was not liked by the plants for those last 2 weeks that it recommends using it for.

Epsom salt is not available in my area. Would maxibloom (5-15-14) from ghe be good for finishing?

I agree with twentyeight, you should be testing all the nutes that go in with an EC meter, don't get hung up on ml/liter. Products and grow shops want to push sales, which means they want you to use as much product as possible.
I am testing ec. It was 1.7-2.0 before but now i will give 1.2-1.4 ripen solution twice a day.

Pots are pretty close to oil radiator so its probably latter. That makes sense thanks. Plants are in 10 liter pots. Did not expect them to get this big 40inch+. I usually get 20-40% runoff.

If you're feeding twice a day it depends on your container size if you use full strength or not. If the plant isn't eating up what you gave it and then you pile more on top of it then you will get toxicity. Also don't read run off and dont trust people working at grow stores.

Do you have any pictures of the plants? 10 liters thats like a "2 gallon" pot. I find it hard to believe those would need more than 1 watering per/24 hours. I would start watering once daily until runoff. You want to see some water coming out of the bottom it doesn't need to be a specific percentage. The point in coco is making sure it's always saturated and never Dry.

You should only need to water 1 time per/day I just harvested some seedling test plants in 2 gallons and even under 1000w Double-Ended HPS they only needed to be watered around 1000 ml (1 liter) every day in coco/perlite. The plants were easily 3 feet tall or ~40 inches.

I water twice and still top part of coco is dry

Are the plants showing signs of nutrient burn? If not keep ripping it. You must not defoliate much with how much those are drinking.

How much nutrient solution are you giving them each time?

I water 1500 ml twice. When i water with 1000 ml i dont get runoff or maybe 5%
