Mmmm lettuce!
Not sure how to explain it. But it’s growing out of the nodes crooked. One leaf is coming out faster than the other. And the leaves look funky. I’m still going with male.
Oh I didn't even notice the second pic! I quoted it and everything, ain't that some shit? I can't see any preflowers or anything. What nodes are you looking at here?
The top one. It has a little kink to it. It’s not growing straight up. There’s a snake in the main branch. Every node has come out like that but looks fine. So I guess it’s no worry
Ah yeah I see what you're talking about. I think you've just popped a funky pheno. I've seen them before and I'm always jealous. I've never found one but if I did I'd clone it and try to breed it just for fun!
You get this with clones only, not seedlings in the same scenario? Does it continue like that or grow out of it? I would think once your soil get balanced out a little it would grow normally.
I started these in new roots organic. I don’t want any early issues with this grow. But that is similar to what this plant is doing.
Havent tried seeds,I assume it would be too hot.Yes clones grow out of it.I now mix less compost in my soil for clones and no more problems.
Just a little too hot,mix it down with straight pro mix should help.Each strain is different but for me clones grow a lot faster in a lighter mix.
It’s not the soil, the breeder said this is common for this red pheno. Roots organic is not hot. I’ve never had any issues. But I use tap 8+ ph. Most of the people claiming soil is too hot are using ph down to get to 6.5.
Well ya ea seed is different,it should grow out of it.
you can flip them now,6-7 days youll know, then switch back to veg.No use wasting time growing males unless your looking for one.
