  • Switching the light cycle back and forth is going to stress the plant out a bit and will cause her to throw out some funny looking new leaves for about two weeks or until she stops protesting and gets use to the new schedule, that’s expected.

2/3rds? shit i'd be happy with 1/20 with my bad luck!!!!!!
I didn’t mean 2/3 I just meant 2 out of these 3. I realize at some point it will end up 50/50. That’s why I’m starting a few backups. Plus if they’re all female I will still have enough room and be within my plant limit.

you can flip them now,6-7 days youll know, then switch back to veg.No use wasting time growing males unless your looking for one.
I will probably just ride this out. I don’t want any unintended complications. I cause enough problems on my own (like that nanner on my last plant)

I will figure out a better system for sexing them on my next grow.

From most of the research I’ve done regular seeds are the way to pheno hunt.

ask @bk78 last breeder he asked about fem seeds laughed at him :hump:
i'm the opposite. each run is pretty much new strains for me. whatever pheno i get, i get. i do 3 or 4 plants, 3 or 4 different fem seeds. i like variety: i usually throw all the strains together and have a "salad" mix of strains.

since you do regs, check out these guys from CO; most of the pix are fire. but no fems.

I don’t “do” regs. This is my first time. I’m not even sure I’m “pheno hunting” I’m just growing these out right now. My end goal is to have a great looking pheno or two from these. It may be a few grows before I even know how good they can be.

My first photo grow I did this with 4 different fem seeds. One strain hermied and ruined all 4. Never again.

I trimmed up the 4 skywalker OG. Looks like ~2oz a plant so meh. They veg for ~45 days. The good news is the Bruce Banner is just less than 2 weeks behind. I assume they will be in the same range on yield.

The plants I waited 10 days to chop don’t have much smell. So I took down the other two while they still have smell. I assume I will need to burp the jars on those more often, as they seemed to have more moisture.

I just grow the males the same as the females and just pull them as they show. You can put a few extra in so when they get culled they're just opening up the right space for the others to move in to.

This is exactly my plan. I’m hoping for 2 and I will put them in 4 or 5 gallon pots.

Nice to see someone else running the ilgm Bruce Banner. How much longer are you going to let them go? I am a little over 6 weeks into flower with my banners. I think I got at least three to four weeks left.
