Gah! I know you're probably worried for your safety, I would be, but you need to call social services mate. That kid is living in a dangerous environment and probably has a multitude of health problems, as a former social worker I implore you to call your local agency anonymously and get that kid out there.

Fuckin gross man. I am just the opposite of a hoarder. If I don't use something, I don't want it.

I keep my surroundings as clean as possible. Whenever I vacuum, I move furniture (beds, dressers) out of the way to vacuum the entire floor.

I feel bad for the kid also. If an adult wants to live like that, than thats their problem. But a child has no choice.

I'll have to play devils advocate and say who the fuck is anyone else to determine if a child is living in danger and unhappiness wihtout having spoken to the child or hell, even seen the child "leading me to believe this wild ohkie child is running around pissing and shitting where ever he pleases" Hell, maybe he's just a crackhead in his sparetime and loses bodily control at times. But yes, let's all invade each others privacy and judge each other.

Its called upper respiratory disease, just to name 1 possible condition, that can occur from living in filth and squalor.

If this place is as the op described, whether the kid is relieving himself all over the house or not, it does not sound like a safe environment
for the kid. I would be willing to bet if ss walked in there, and seen what the op described, and smelled what the op described, that kid would
be out of there and in a foster home fast. That house sounds like a barnyard. Not suitable for a kid.

If the safety, well being and welfare of a child is at risk, isn't at least worth looking into?

I think the point he was trying to make, mind your own business....before jumping to conclusions and possibly ruining an entire families life....

And as the OP states himself, he never saw, heard, spoke to, witnessed a child present. But sure, we can just make lots of assumptions and proceed to invade someones life and privacy. This is modern society though, if you tell a doctor you like living in your squalor and will not be taking his pills to counter the upper respiratory disease, they'll probably lock you up under a ental health act. It's illegal to not be normal and act as they wish us to.

edit:

I think the point he was trying to make, mind your own business....before jumping to conclusions and possibly ruining an entire families life....

I'm definitely not the type to get the police or authorities(government) involved in other peoples life.

I just took it for granted that a child was living in the house. After reading OP again, I see that he doesn't mention actually seeing a child. Like I said before, I could care less how an adult chooses to live their life- good, bad or ugly. None of my business.

minding your own business is one thing, but leaving a child in a dangerous situation is a whole different story. if the house is really as bad as the op said, and social worker saw that place, they would immediately take custody of the kid and call the health department. im all for keeping your nose out of other peoples shit, but when innocent people are at risk i feel you are obligated to do something.

further more, you know this guy is selling his flowers and plants to unsuspecting patients and dispensaries. we really need some sort of regulatory system for growers. nurseries and farms have regular inspections from the county agricultural department. why cant we develop our own protocols and regulations to keep the medicine as safe as it can be?

EDIT: even if the op didnt actually see the kid there was enough evidence that a child was spending at least some time there. is it really worth the risk to just ignore that because you didnt see the child?

Man fuck that! Dude when the guy opened his doors to strangers his privacy went out the fucking window. You got to be a cold hearted person to even think of leaving a child to live in a environment like that. Dude said that he wouldnt even take a shit in the house so if I saw even a remote chance of a child living their you better believe that my happy ass would be calling. Nothing like turning a blind on a child...Damn skippy hippy...

If i had seen the child, then i would have had slightly different thoughts. But no child was witnessed, so as far as i'm concerned i should not be butting into his personal business. (I, he, whatever haha) Crayon on the wall of a house and the smell of excrement is not evidnce of a child. That is like saying a heat spot on your roof is evidence of a grow, no, it's just an indicator. I don't like the idea of a police state where everyone is ratting everyone in over anything. 50 years ago the government wouldn't have given a shit if kids lived in a slightly grotty house, i mean just look at mining towns etc, they simply didn't care one bit. Now however, the government will try and charge for any and everything in a power trip and grab for money.

"caring" is completely dependent on the state of the country. I mean these horrible people making the world a horirble place, that is all of us illegal growers. We don't deem it so, but there are laws and majorities that as such make our activities horrific, poisoning our minds, all that lot. I mean if we're really getting so fussy etc, why are we reporting him solely for a dirty house, surely bringing up a kid in a grow op should be grounds for social services no? fuck that.

With regard to weed quality self regulation, as long as there is greed it will not work. I thought that teenths, eights, quaters etc was meant to be a form of self regulation for cost to weight. Suddenly you're not even getting a gram in your "teenth" i didn't ask the dealer for 1g, i asked to buy a teenth, that is 1.75g
