Forgive me for suggesting you might be a little naive, or deliberately being semantic on this issue. I mean, come on! No child was actually "witnessed"? Oh that's right, of course, after the grower takes a dump in his living room and pisses in the corner he then drops some meth and regresses into a childlike state and pulls out wax crayons and starts scribbling on the wall? Look, I don't give a fuck when it comes to these things. Hell, I'd even admit to being there to buy clones/pot if it meant that kid, or whatever kid had been there temporarily or otherwise, was extricated from that environment. Making this PC argument about one minding one's own business, and not jumping to conclusions or generalising or whatever, just enables grotty bastards like that grower to perpetuate and continue inflicting that kind of misery on others: partner, child, relative you name it.

An anonymous phone call could change someone's life for the better. Even the filth-loving grower might actually benefit too from the scrutiny. Sometimes people need an insentive to improve their lot in life.

Just 'cause I break a law and grow marijuana doesn't mean I'm inflicting misery on others. I have no dependents, so I answer to myself and the law. But if I did, I'd have to think twice as to whether I'd grow pot. I mean, sure just 'cause I'd take that risk any day, it doesn't give me the right to expose my family to risks associated with growing a prohibited substance (even if it might be legal in some states of the US). It would be unfair to them if I went to gaol and imposed all that associated stress, hardship and stigma upon them. But this guy is fucking with the health of the people he lives with. That's worse than selling pot in my opinion; and I think most people would agree whether they support prohibition or not.

50 years ago they may have ignored the welfare of children, but we have come a long way since then. yes the op didnt see a child. even so, a house that dirty can be ruled a health and fire hazard and the health department can forcibly clean it out. raising a child around a grow op isn't wrong, as long as the child is safe, healthy and their need are met. i have a friend who just got custody of his daughter after his ex tried to prove him an unfit parent because he is a grower. after CPS inspected his house the lady said that his house was one of the cleanest and safest she had inspected. she specifically asked to see his grow room and was very happy that it wasn't a shit hole. however had his house been filled with dirt and mold and had shit laying around everywhere they would have had every right to deny him custody.

i dont think i was clear enough when i said regulation. what we need is a way to ensure the cannabis being supplied to patients is not only safe to consume (God bless Steephill Labs!) but also that it is produced in a manner that doesnt destroy the environment. a system that quarantines pests and diseases and monitors their spread. Landscape plants brought into nurseries from an other county are inspected by a trained inspector from the ag commissioners office, before leaving and after arriving. there are protocols and procedures that are standard throughout the Ag industries, why should ours be any different?

wow you guys kinda took this over the top no i didnt see a kid but the television was on in the kids room and there was somebody cooking in the kitchen unless whoever was cooking a grilled fucking cheese was also watchin teletubbies in the kids room but i doubt it.......and truthfully i have seen clean houses that were true bad homes molestation rape shit like that...that kids life could have been filled with all the love in the world, and his house may have just happened to be a shithole , i am not one to make decisions like that and fuck cps and the police ummmm......yes officer i was buying pot plants here is my name address and number please save that little boy...uhh..no fuck no fuck fuck no!!!!
