Just a fyi i cut down the plant. wh3n i got up there were a bunch of bananas, and unfortunately i currently don't have the time or the patience to deal with it. My mother just had her knees replaced so she needs to be taken care of, and i also have a court case going on so im stressed out enough as is.
Good luck and come back real soon.

If it's your only plant let it rip and get what you can out of it in a few weeks. If you have other plants that it could also seed then take the L and body bag it (put contractor bag over the plant and chop at the base, tie off the bag and remove from grow area) Try not to rustle around the plant cause pollen will go airborne very easily the more you disturb it.
This is why you spray the area and plants with water in a fine sprayer.. water will make pollen less viable aswell..

Yea fliped 5 weeks ago, i got a calander on my grow with jane app. Today's day 35.

On another note Today's the schedule for gaia green to top dress should i feed as normal or hows that work since its the 5th week? The gaia green amendments take about 2 weeks to break down to be available to the plants, how does that factor in with the end of flowering, aren't you supposed to stop feeding the last 2 weeks of flower?
Yea, so like 2-3 weeks of flower tops, you have 6+ weeks to go.

Oh, well nevermind. That sucks, kind of a waste.

I say just keep pushing fwd, there's always the possibility these nanners will have no effect, produce weak or no pollen & you might not get any seeds from it. Even if you do, it'll probably be a dozen or less, no big deal IMO.

This really only matters if you're growing meds for other ppl. Growing for yourself, WHO CARES about a few seeds, lol.

Bummer you cut it. This is a good scenario for buying a set of bubble bags and keeping them around. Seeded bud is a bummer and all, but so is wasting a couple months of time, electricity, and fertilizer and having nothing to show for it.

Oh well. You gotta do what you gotta do. Might not be the end of the world. My wife likes early Indicas. This is day 38, but I've actually chopped this strain at 28 days too, :bigjoint:. And here comes the pitchforks,:lol::lol:

I was thinking about that, sorta like an asbestos removal, but I didn't think spraying the actual plants would be a good idea. Although it would keep the polen from getting blown around the tent from fans.

LMAO nice one
On a semi related note. . . .. i have this crazy theory; I wonder if hanging a shitload of conventional store-bought bananas in the growspace will either speed up, or beneficially impact flowering??? This is based on the fact that conventional bananas are picked very green & are ethylene-gassed, and they tend to release that gas as they sit? I wouldn't personally want to risk any pathogens or pests but I'm still curious. . ..

I know people chop early, but this is insane.
I don't understand what is so crazy?
The plant clearly was hermaphrodite, I know I'm a beginner and all, but every video and or every thing I've read said " if you find a male plant or a hermaphrodite plant to remove it from your grow tent ASAP bla bla bla"

I also was told that the bananas can pollinate anything around it, and they don't even have to open up like a pollen sack.

Also that if the plants still have alot of the white pistls that i should cut my losses before all my plants get pollinated

Lastly I can't tell if "kod42" is being a prick, or it just reads that way
