Week 5 flower, WHEN TO FLUSH?

I’m not taking sides here but being I was new grower not that long ago. I would prefer if people posted why not to flush, not just that they only flush their toilet. But since people are always asking the same questions over and over and over and over and well you get it. I understand people’s frustrations with OPs (not this OP specifically) not doing more homework.

If someone told me I had 3-4 more weeks and I thought my plant was done. I could use the next two weeks deciding whether or not to flush, by doing online research or asking people in here to go into more detail. Also research signs that my plant is finished and check people’s harvest pics that you see. I see you put that you put in hours of research. That would have led you to 1000 of these posts already on this site.

So people don’t mind helping but it’s nice when new growers read more and ask more in depth questions rather than just flush or no flush? It’s good to know why people flush and why they don’t flush. And it’s ok to flush one and not flush the other. It’s situation and grower dependent.

Ok, BIG update, and also BIG newbie mistake.

As stated before, due to the amount of seeds found in the bud that I got these seeds from strongly suggests to me this strain has hermie genetics.

Now, I have found about 12 bananas total, over the past 2 weeks. Although I believe this strain is genetically inclined to produce bananas, I understood from research it still takes some sort of stressor to produce bananas. Some strains are significantly more prone to producing bananas when exposed to stress than others right? So, the production of bananas discouraged me, because in my opinion, plants have not been stressed at all. Light is correct distance away, temp and humidity are perfect, and everything seemed on point, SO WHY BANANAS?

Well, last night I found out why. About 2 weeks ago, I moved my exhaust fan outside of the grow tent for more space to move the light up. In doing this, I guess I accedentially clicked one of the 30-minute light interval switches. So for the past 2 weeks, my plant has had undisturbed darkness from 8pm-8am, EXCEPT FOR 11:30-12:00!!!!! I strongly believe this 30 minute light interuption in the middle of the darkness period is what caused these bananas to grow, I am excited to see now that the problem is fixed or if it continues to produce bananas, I will keep everyone updated.
