Thanks mich I was holding back until she stretched her lower shoots so I can take two cuts for sexing then I will take the huge supple lower leafs and thin the Tharp out of the middle. Beautiful plant can’t wait to see her start to bud. How far into flower should it show sex, last two pics are topping nodes and main trunk. I see no sign of balls yet and two thick hairs.
I see sex at week 7 - 10 from seed. Look behind the pointed little sheaths right in the node. Use a toothpick and magnifying glass. I hate that game. Big let down when your girl shows you her nuts. Glad I am over 90% calling my bulk seeds.

My veg time is determined by growth rate, known plant max size, indoor or not, space available and training or not. I would also be clearing some under growth from the second and third plants pictured. I always keep my medium exposed after my plants have established and are healthy. I'm a firm believer in moderate stress to maintain maximum defensive growth.
Defensive growth, I like that, as soon as I get growth I start “fuckin’em up).also I always have the tops dancing in the breeze to stimulate and promote stalk thickness. First node I pinch is just below soil for a water pump to the tops.

Ok I'm officially here for the ride! . And thanks your plants are looking great to. Are u an experienced PERPETUAL grower? This is my first go at perpetual because I always run out b4 next harvest. Its working out and I think I've got the scheduling of everything down . It's just waaaaay more demanding than I had originally thought. I'm running a 4 week perpetual harvest but thinking of trying 8 weeks in between. I'm gonna see how this goes for a while but there are ways I can minimize the work. Like using fem seeds only and less plants at a time. Maybe 2 plants every harvest. Meh, we'll see

Used to run 15-20 plants on a 4 week flip. With cloning it was a second job. Do I am only using a boxed off 8x8 of my flower room. 8x5 veg room and 4x 6 clone/ seedling room.

I’m looking at 4 per harvest, that makes 12 in flower 8 in 2 stages in veg . Looking at 3 outside, leaves me 9 slots for mothers, males and runts.

Wow that sounds like work. That's the perpetual life. My setup is probably as small as it could get . My veg tent is only 2x2x4 and flower is 36"×36"×72". Making it work with 9 plants in veg and 2 In flower. Then halfway through flower, move whatever I can fir into the flower tent and germ a few more seeds. Only problem is I might not have room in the flowering tent for what I have in veg. Either way I'd rather have too many than not enough

Yeah a little daunting walking out to 60 plants every day. Don’t know where you live but if you have a big south facing window that gets good light you can keep plants in veg out there. I use banks of T5 fluorescent and a small HD LED to veg. And sprout seedlings Low cost and with perpetual you don’t need to rush them through veg as you will have some Sativa strong plants need longer than 10 weeks to fully ripen.

I lucked into some silly recessed mount 2x2 44W LED panels at 3700K. Impressive veg. Paid like $15 for 4 @ auction. But light weight, cool and pennies to run.

Yeah I got my eyes open for something similar. Have two ballast out in my T5’s. When this lock down ends I will hit up my electrician for some take outs.

Day 18?: all the sprouts are popping at first and second nodes in the same order as yesterday. More lateral than vertical growth with lights close.

Purple Thai should be ready for 2 cuts tomorrow, bounced right back from a good pruning yesterday.

Day 19: How many people are killing their plants with a bad case of LITFA?? Being home sucks after a point. Have to stay in the garden to keep the wife from putting a few drops of fish tank cleaner in my lemonade and telling the cops I’m a Trumper...ok enough of that.
Plants are doing well in spite of my constant care. Doing a little house cleaning and locked the door to the water tanks. Thinning the herd and the bottom half’s of plants for a little girdle to pull the hippie ladies in to get 3 a shelf in 5 gallons. I just use pipe cleaner and make a belt around the brandy glass and pull it up until I have Champaign flutes. Only worried about main colas on these GG4 for head stash. Pulled the two that were a few weeks out as 1 Hermèd on me. Chopped them in a bag for pressing or hash. As you can see I am not very nice to them when they are young, but that’s how you get bamboo thick top stalks.

Everything is Lookin really healthy. Keep up the good work. Fortunately I'm still working but not as many hours as b4 and being home sucks. I've become addicted to COD warzone

Shut my company (construction) down 2 weeks ago. Live near Detroit, glad I did. I mean how do I even start calling people back about “their project” when people around them may be sick or worse, their 401k has tanked, and they may lose their job ( business, house, car, contracts...etc. ) . Don’t get me started about how we got here. To use a military term its officially FUBAR!
