What are the most 'Creative thinking' strains in your opinion?

I know they're out there. I've had fast thinking strains that, if you have pen and paper handy, will make you write random ideas, comedy scripts, good music and even sketch things.

Hard to explain, but the buzz i'm looking for is certainly fast thinking, coming up with great idea after great idea. I'm assuming Sativa dominants. I've heard Himalayan Gold and FLo are decent for this. Any experience? Any others?

i find c99 to be very thought provoking and fairly fast..she's my fav..i will tell you this, i crossed some c99 to a vietmanese black..very pyschoactive..physcadellic,visuals all over..viet black is very very strong..hope this helps ya..peace

Cheers, I'll have a rifle through those strains. Any more? I'm 'creative' anyway and being high makes the creativity flow better, ideas come faster and its more enjoyable. All I can get hold of from local dealers is bud that spaces me out too much, so I can't concentrate on the pen and paper. I know there are the fast thinking strains, and the majority that i'll be growing this year will be thoses that people are suggesting as creative, focused and musical. I am a writer and have my best success with sativas. C-99 is a winner as well as JTR. I am playing with a Purple Cheese and a Bubbleboy that seem to get me going also. Just make sure you review the work with a clear head. Not all of my "high" ideas look so good the next morning. LOL!

AK47 - Serious Seeds: Rocket Fuel. Up, soaring, not functional. One hit, incredibly potent. Stinks like cat piss and dead skunk. I think you have to be careful about the idea of "creative" too. There are strains that definitely make you think but sometimes it's in the wrong or uncomfortable sense. Bob Marley said something like "ganja reveals myself to me".

When I smoke a strain that really reveals the subconscious it can be uncomfortable and I personally think of that as anxiety producing because all these thoughts bubble to the surface. It's hard though to predict which strains will have that type of effect and if that will be uncomfortable for you or not.

One strain I smoked that helped a lot with pure focus was Sweet tooth #3. I remember it being extremely creative, focus-producing weed. Actually, this was ST#3 x AK47 but the phenos were very ST leaning, not much at all like AK. Maybe AK helped contribute to that but my thinking is the SPG and Blueberry in ST#3 probably helped a lot. So I would consider anything still available from that line like Blue Satellite or any ST to be worth a try. I was amazed at my concentration ability and it was a very comfortable and productive effect.

Another one that I read a report on that should fit the bill is GrowDoc's ADHD. This strain was bred to help people with ADD focus. A smoke report I read recently said it did exactly that and really helped this person focus- said it would be great for hitting the books and concentrating which seems to mean it doesn't cause the mind to "fly" and have those jumbled thoughts. I'm going to give it a try for sure.

GDS ADHD

Jester88 - Yeh, I can't play guitar that well, but guitar hero's real fun when high and I love drawing when i'm buzzed. Only trouble with getting stoned for it, is that I keep forgetting what i'm drawing, my imagination wanders to something else or I just end up falling asleep .

Bakinville - C99/Vietnamese Black sounds amazing. I've never had a truly psychedelic smoke like that.

DNDGrower - Sound simililar to me pal. I always write my inventive rantings and then clean the ideas up the next morning. Guessing you bred the Purple Cheese and Bubbleboy yourself, cos I can't find them.

There are a couple of Soma's strains that I would like to try however. The main one being Somango as it's an Indica with a calm, creative high and just the idea of mango flavour is enough.

Arjans Haze #3 sounds quite suitable, also it grows smaller and it's from Greenhouse, so nice and cheap! I think this will be a definate.

I've always got it in my garden, favorite strain. Yes, it's effects can range from social - laughing with friends, having a great time - to pissing your pants while trying to breath while rolling on the floor laughing at the hilarity of having both a couch and a chair in the same room! I mean, come on, that's some over kill.

ps No one saw me piss my pants so as far as any of you know it never happened.

Very branchy plant, I tried putting a clone in a 2'x2' RDWC with 7 clones from other strains and it took up half the cage. I moved it to its own bucket and it's spread like a full size plants. Even more branch than Blueberry.

Amazing taste, potent, 9 week flower, easy to grow, good yielder, resilient to grower mistakes, AND ... if you take some to a friends place you might get him to piss his pants. On his own floor.

big buddhas g-bomb is quite new out. £55 for 10 fem seeds. from the makers of cheese, blue cheese and the new cheesel (cheese x NYC d) im on a 2nd grow and i wouldnt gro same strain twice unless it was po. full stop this grade fucks u up.

One of my friends works as chef for Aramark, and because of all the cuts they've recently been doing, he's now back on the line, and is about to go postal. He tells that if he didn't have weed to smoke everyday, somebody'd be dead already. Lol!


That being said, go with NL5X Haze if you really want to get somewhere.
