Currently growing Auto Critical Mass and while I was checking on my plants, I saw 3-4 bugs on a couple of my outdoor Auto Critical Mass plants. It also looks like something is eating the leaves as well.. is there any way to tell by the look of the leaves whats eating them?

I've attached some pictures of the leaves and bugs that i found on my plants. Are these thrips? If not, what are they and should i be concerned?

Looks like whitefly, they will suck out moister out of leaves, as you can see by the damage. Insecticidal soap.

is that the yellowish line on the plant leaf? will insecticidal soap get rid of them?
Yes that's what that yellowish line is. I don't know if I would say get rid of them but, It should help a little or deter them some. Though it likely wouldn't do a damn thing for the larval stage since its in the plant. But, might help with the adults some.

Any idea what they are?
It’s hard to tell from the pic.. I’m not a pest expert either but I’ve had thrips many times, they don’t do damage like that, and don’t look like that. Whitefly is a good guess, aphid possibly, I really don’t know and hard to tell from the pic.. bag a leaf with one on it, and bring it to a gardening store or something as a worst case and watch what ur putting on the plant I would just let nature run it’s course or get some predators in there ladybug
