Going by what the plants told me, instead of what it said on the back of a bottle.(nutes and additives) Thinning out all the big fans with 2wks of flower left.

defoliation is not ur enemy.. but ur friend.. like many say.. the people who experiment are saying way different then the people who just read that u shouldnt do it.. mainly i take off every leaf with astem on it.. after 2 weeks of 12 12 .. and now im going to leave 1 clone untouched.. 1 clone the way i normally do and see what works better for WEIGHT.
keef treez spent over thirty years growing in secret and when he came out with
actual proof they still dont except it i made a thread about it a month ago and its gone ppl on here dont like keef treez if you look at the top of advanced growing its stickyed with topping and croping with uncle ben being on top why cause ppl dont understand defoiliating .

Finding out what nutes the plant loves the most and how it reacts with it and having to learn what to mix and what not to mix. What strength it likes and don't likes. I find any plants that I've grown like the very weak feed compared to a full strength or half strength feed. If you want the most out of your strains you have to do this to partly master them.

#1 - Master the feeding what the plant loves during its veg state.
#2 - Master what the plant loves for feeding during flowering cycle.

Dropping the temperature down to daytie highs of 77 during the last 2 weeks of flowering, even with CO2.

Removing fan leaves near the end.

Not flushing.

Cutting nutrient strength in half when I drop the humidity.

Topping at 12 inches, supercroping and Lollipopping aka get rid of all bottoms. Just ends up in a bag of skuff.

Flooding the roots for the last week as well as lights out for up to a week. Starving the roots of oxygen most definately begins the cure process early and turning off the lights noticeably pumps up the yield. (I don't think 48 hours does shit)

^ lol. Pretty much. I just find it funny that some people have the "I'm not really growing pot" signatures. Like some cop would say " oh hey, this guy isn't actually growing weed, it says so right at the bottom of the page"

I forgot another quality increaser..raising the lights in the last week or two. I think I was nuking the smell out of my buds

If your replacing your HPS more than once a year your pissing your money away. Unless you have some janky ballast that roasts bulbs

I am surprised nobody said supersoil!!!

If you are asking for quality, for me it went from being a newbie shitty grower with promix and bottled nutrients to become a newbie grower with organic supersoil ... still a newbie grower but I smoke the best pot I have ever smoked!! and its organic!!

EDIT In my experience it also improved yield tremendously, but like I said I was a total n00b with the bottled nutrients... organic supersoil is the way to go for home grower... hydroponic is money making business

SoG over SCRoG, for my setup at least the harvest is greater with SoG; and perpetual is great for having many strains always available.

#1 going vertical SOG, by far the best method I've found to date.

#2 switching from soil to 100% perlite, much faster and produces more finish weights.

#3 moving my plants further away (20"-24") from the lights during the final weeks of flower.

#4 48 hrs of darkness when you flip and 96hrs of darkness at finish.
