What Do You Think Of These LEDS. My Only Question is, Are they worth the price?

No i dont have alot of cash to waste on lighting
My Climate is to hot to Run HIDS/MH and Even CFLS most of the time.
Is only Needed For One Plant (i have Put the rest outside as Its Getting closer to Flower time-For them)

If it's too hot with CFL you need to stick to buying. $10 a gram for decent stuff I hear. Seriously.

From what I have seen with LED you need to spend a bit more to get something good. It's all about the optics.

As soon as I can get back to micro growing I am going LED for sure... but I'm expecting to pay about 1k+ for 300 watts of led. That 1k though will last me 8 years easy, no bulb replacements. Illumitex is making quality LED lights.

But, no, they just are not HID's. Just like fluor. LEDs are the future though. Some manufacturers are way ahead of the pack. Ag, Commercial, Industrial, Residential... all LEds.

Yeah , Well I Know abit about LEDS But Im not looking for something Big atm, im just looking for something to supplement my current cfls. I Have About 8 x 24w cfls plus a simple 13w LED on one plant which seems to be digging it. Though With this Heat Id Like to remove those CFLS At least, Ive been looking Into Possibly making my own LED but dont know enough about it tbh(Something more to learn) IVe Seen Some Very Worthwhile Company's selling High Powered (Very high par/Lux) White lights and wouldn't mind building something like that.

One Site that impressed me is this one(However they havnt Gotten Ul Certification yet so no idea on price.

So Far Ive Spent Around $300 (including elec) Over the past couple of years on my setup and Would have smoked a Good 5-10k worth of pot, So I Know for a fact that i dont need to spend Tons To get a working system.

Area 51 is coming out with 2013 line in afew days. 165 w , all cree, around 1300 umoles , $495 life time warranty. Has discounts..

I started using the newer PAR 38 LED Flood lamps. I know that the Philips 5000k 19.5W AmbientLED PAR38 works very well for vegetative growth. It puts out 1300 lumen.
These type of bulbs can be found at most DIY retailers.

If your 13w LED is working well, slowly upgrade with comparable or better type bulbs. For flowering the standard LED bulbs will need some red spectrum help.

... dammit, I knew there was a product release soon(Mar 1-ish), but that's GOOD news.

To the OP

You would spend at least $100 more to get a "name brand" 90-100W fixture, so you're taking some risk, but I think minimal.

As I've gotten older, I would rather spend more money to have good customer service, than save a dollar and pull my hair out. At a first glance, it(that light) seems ok/legit, but I don't know much about it, and I'm leery of buying no-branded items.
Reading further ... 4200lumens at 120W ... a 4ft 2-bulb Florescent does that, and it's an actual SHOP light. Save half the money and go buy T5 for that performance.
