electrical relay - US description.
it is used so you dont blow everything up in your grow room
you plug the one with timer on it into a standard timer device then into your wall socket and the other straight into the wall socket .
most standard timer devices are only able to run 125w a normal grow needs between 200w - 1000w or more this device allows you to plug this stuff into a standard timer without the timer malfunctioning .
