what is eating my babies

ive got a few plants outdoor and some of them have little holes on the leaves i think its caterpillars or grass hoppers but is there an insecticide that wont harm my dog

I've never seen that kind of damage before. Insecticidal soap is probably a good first step.

I have no idea if its available there. There will be a comparable product, I suggest asking a local nursery.

Exactly.

"Insecticidal Soap". You can probably order it on line, if there is none locally.

I have made my own insect repellent (don´t know if it actually killed the varmints) with soap and garlic - harmless to people but the insects cleared off - they were grasshoppers, the only insect pests that have really bothered me.
