Sunset Sherb is very euphoric and uplifting Amnesia also. Someone mentioned Super Silver Haze from back in the day, great shout! Peace.

Who sells the LSD strain? barney? Ive been chasing this one euphoric strain for about a year now. It was almost like i took a hit of ecstasy and i wasnt the only one who felt this way after smoking it. The guy who sold it to me said he "thinks" it was sour diesel. It was incredibly potent and awesome...ill never forget it.
I had same ecstasy sensation with S.A.G.E.

I think this depends on our own biochemistry (for lack of a better term);
or potentially how much endocannabinoid deficiency condition that one's body is enduring;
and generally speaking it's primarily about the terpene profile that is in a given sample of a particular cultivar and how your body responds to it.

So all that to say different strokes for different folks.
But I thought the expression above would be more specific and less colloquial. ;-)

There are many suggestions which I want to lookup their terpene profiles to see if a fit for me.
Keep the recommendations coming!

I don't think its "primarily" terps. I'm of the mind it's the entourage effect. Cannibanoids, terps, and how they work together. Primarily the cannibanoids, as the terpens by themselves are just fragrance/flavor

Hello Tolerance Break!

We will see if what you say is true. We will both be reading the research as it appears.

Related to this cannabis, have you seen the paper(s) on endocannabinoid deficiency? Those are interesting.

Sure... the THC/CBD entourage effect is very important. I'd like to read more scientific papers about what is the entourage effect specifically. In the same spirit as the what used to be called the "runner's high". We all know how that turned out. I am not implying the same outcome for entourage effect. Just that spirit of scientific research to define it better.

However, I believe the terpenes are what define the specific therapeutic benefits of a particular chemovar.

it is definitely definitely definitely not just aromas. I am quite sure of that.

I treat nausea, "IBS" or "Bacterial Overgrowth", Dementia, and reconstructive orthopedic surgery (pain management) with different terpene profiles. My success in these areas on different patients is the empirical foundation of my viewpoints.

And for thread compliance: Chemdog
(legacy/heirloom time frame like what is called '91)

I should mention my euphoria is a feeling of balanced gastro/gut and a calm brain; the alternative is awful.

This is a good question. I have been interested in euphoria in cannabis for a long time. I have always wanted to try the Dutch Passion Euphoria. I have not run across the euphoria inducing stuff I ran into as a kid. But I made butter from a pure Mexican sativa once that gave me feelings of euphoria.

Ace seeds zamaldelica x kali China had a feeling of well-being which is nice. Its not too much of a jolt of euphoria but more a gentle wave or nudge. It always puts a smile on the face. Peace.

A phenotype of Apollo 13 I grew an F1 of. Made seeds out of it, very intense euphoria hits you and your eyes shut for a few seconds.
