What is the source of this deficiency?

Hello all,

My SAD is showing signs of continuous Cal-Mag deficiency even though I have added more and PH corrected the water. It’s getting frustrating because I am losing more leaves than it can produce. Older leaves are affected first and it yellows out in between the green veins. I have added pictures as well.

1 of my plants had the same Def. I didn't change anything, just keep feeding the same as other plants. It stayed short but became more wide than others. Didn't do any stretch and started flowering 2 weeks later but the buds are super good and it's very healthy

Why are you advising someone to take no action when a deficiency is clearly present? There's a pretty serious Magnesium deficiency present, and that will absolutely cause problems going forward if not dealt with.

Ignoring the problem doesn't work when growing plants.

How much Cal-Mag are you putting into how much water?

What's the overall EC of your nutrient solution?

The problem is that leaves are yellowing out and eventually browning, thereby affecting the photosynthesis rate. Also, the plant is a state of growing new branches as a result of HST.

I am putting in 20 ml Cal-mag at the root zone with the total PPM at approx 1000. I am also throwing in an iced bottle of water every few hours which come in direct contact with the roots, although, the others aren’t showing any signs of stress:/

I advice people not worry about a plant when things are safe. This plant is safe. Looks like zinc.

This happened before topping? I have issues with plants if soil is too hot, after hard training, and the first weeks in flowering. But personally I never try to fix the issue except is caused by me. I let them do what they have to do. Yes in hydro the plant needs you more but I dont see that you did something wrong here. Looks like zinc. Zinc needs pH around 6-6.2. Maybe the plant starts consuming to adopt in this training

Makes sense, let me try increasing the zinc then. That’s about the last thing I can do.
