What Is Wrong With My 2 Week Old Seedlings

if I get the t 5 until they are more mature will the 1000 watt still work in that small of a tent after that?

First thing you need to do is tell us exactly what 1000w led you’re using because 1000w of led would be far to hot for your tent.

@coreywebster another LED guy for you to help.

My advice is if you haven’t got any experienced LED guys in this room wait it out for @coreywebster he knows his LED’s.

Ok the power consumption on that light is 185w not 1000w.
If its pulling 165 at the wall it's probably closer to a 300w hps equivalent not a 1000w. Its does change things and you can probably raise it up high enough so long as there isnt a heat issue. Just not vary efficient when a t5 wont require any cooling outside of a small fan.
I'm currently running 2 roi680e's and 3 600w kind and one thing I've noticed with LEDs is the manufacturer recommended hanging heights are way lower than they should be.

I’ve ran some amazon leds and they are never what they advertise. If you scroll down on that ad or any light ad you will find in the specs the actual power draw and that is what the actual wattage is of led lights. If you want a true 1000w LED you are gonna pay huge dollars for. Check out blackdog led. Probably not even the best you would get for the money. Do your research. The best led I got off amazon was an X6 Cob LED. They advertise it at 1800w but it draws 300w from the wall. It’s sunshine light kinda matching the spectrum of a CMH bulb. I hope this helps. 185w is gonna be decent for vegging a couple plants but no good for flower. You will need more wattage if you want good dense bud.

2 week old seedlings will now require nutrients to feed on. I would recommend using a sparkling water like la Croix and add your nutrients to this water base and adjust pH to 6-7 for soil or 5.8 to 6.5 for soilless. The co2 in the sparkling water will directly carry your nutes to the roots for the most direct uptake. The natural flavoring in sparkling water include fruit essences or essential oils and calcium nitrogen and phosphorus alll at very low levels which is perfect for younglings.
no no no..what roots?

I'm not sure what is up with my 2 Week old seedlings. I had overwatered my last plants so I was not watering as often. I checked on them when I got home one day and they were severely underwatered and wilting. I gave them a healthy amount of water and they perked back up but ever since the cotyledons have began to turn yellow and the tips of the new growth are yellow does anybody knpw what this could be?
They’re yellow because she lacks Nitrogen. Because she’s trying to root herself. Because you either planted directly or transplanted way to early. She can’t get Nitrogen either because your not giving her any or because your leaching it out into all that farm land You planted her in.
That is coco, right?

This linked grow journal will show you the difference in performance between Happy Frog soil and Ocean Forest soil. Look at the two Dutch Passion Think Different strains. They were planted at exactly the same time and the Think Different in the Happy Frog soil is growing slower (even though I am feeding it General Hydroponics Flora series at 1/4 strength). This proves that Ocean Forest is better with no added nutrients *** if you are using this type of premium Autoflower genetics. Where did you get your seed? What brand and what seed bank?

Also, I have been on a strict watering schedule of every 3rd day and it works great: Water Today, Don't water tomorrow, Don't water the next day, Water the following day. I give each plant about 1 cup of water every 3rd day! Try it out!

Not necessarily.

your 2 different seeds could be expressing different phenotype variations within the same strain.

only if you were using 2 clones from the same mother would your point be proven.

im not saying you are wrong just giving you a different possible perspective.

my front 2 plants are grown in plain coco and are both the same strain CRITICAL+ by dinafem.
Having grown this strain from seed every year at least twice since 2013 I’ve seen many different variations of phenotypes within this strain.

so it’s not necessarily your soil choice that is causing elevated growth or different plant structures. (But it could be)B3136C68-BBB1-49A8-A8DD-19A4A22789C9.jpeg
