Do you use the same amount of A and B or bump it up some? I would love to not have to buy boost anymore. Like you said I would still add Cannazym at the end. I also run coco and reuse it
To be honest I probably use less A and B now than I did when I used to use the whole line. I made an effort to water more often with less EC overall.
I would say mix up a separate batch of just A and B and try it on one plant all through flower. But im confident I never lost weight or quality when I cut out the expensive boost. I can afford to run it but just don't see a point if it isn't gaining me anything.

I swear by canna. I do find it strange however the coco a and be can be used throughout the entire grow without any issues where as recirculating has aqua vega and flores.
The only extras i would use is rhizotonic and pk13/14. I probably prefer bud candy over boost.

Trying out maxibloom this round but I can't seem to get it dissolved. Using hot tap water and shaking it in a jar and I'm getting a lot of sediments on the bottom.
The shaking method is terrible, you have to shake it for 10 minutes with near boiling hot water, and even then you may have some sediment on the bottom.

My first automation was using a milk frother, which worked fairly good, but was only good for smaller batches

I now use an old food blender, which works like a charm...... you can pick up an old used one for 10 or 15 bucks

Mine is a 35 year old Sears Kenmore, which I use for nothing else but mixing my nutes.

I use 1 litre of hot water, add about 11 grams of Maxibloom, then mix for about 60 seconds..... add the mix to 5 litres of cold water (plus 6 ml of Cal-Mag & pH+) to make my 6 litre batch of feed

BTW: this is a brand new bag of Maxibloom, which is a much brighter red than the previous batch...but it seems to be a much finer grind, so it should be easier to mix

Thanks for the info man. I got an old blender I'll try this out with. The shaking method definitely doesn't work that well lol

Ya if someone could explain why years ago we altered npk and now just use the same veg and flower....

Situations fucked up if you ask me :-)

Yeh seems to be so many different tactics when it comes to nutrients, of which in my experience all lead to similar bud if done right, base nutrients im speaking about. Extras at the right times do seem to make a difference.

I've been using an inexpensive product called VitaGrow for years. It's just basic salts, calcium nitrate, monopotassium phosphate, and a micronutrient blend. It has everything a plant needs and I get great results. I also use it on houseplants and outdoors in the garden. There is no reason to spend the ridiculous amounts of money they want for these so called cannabis specific nutrients so I don't. Cannabis is just another plant. Treat it like one and it will grow just fine.
I'm a newbie and have been using BioThrive line...its been driving me crazy mixing everything together. For my next grow I'm going the less is more route and was looking into VitaGrow. I still have some FFOF soil so I'll be using that. I'm not too sure about the feeding schedule on the site however...care to share whats been working for you?

I use Canna.
The full line, including cannazime and ryzotonic and 13/14PK and boost.
Also add some cal/mag to it. The cal/mag is not Canna brand, but it is not important is be, just that it adds cal/mag.

Only thing I add to that is Supethrive. And I will be using Tribus in place of Ryzoronic as soon as I can get it. Shit is amazing root stemulizer!!
