There was a time earlier in my life where I couldn't stand country music. Now that I'm in the "mature" age of life I've gotten to the point where I can enjoy every genra ........ Except one: Grunge Rock ------------ I hate being yelled at and that's what it sounds like to me. On top of being yelled at, I can't understand the lyrics.... My appology to anyone who enjoys Grunge Rock - no offence intended.
How can you not like nirvana? and isn't pearl jam grunge? I don't really pay attention to genres. I either like it or I don't. but most country really sucks, and is depressing. I guess pearl jam is hard to understand the lyrics. I agree with that.

I'll tell you the problem. It's the internet and computers, all that technology bullshit. It is so easy to create music and get it out there that the market is flooded with shit. Wading through all that shit to find something good is difficult especially with the volume of music available these days. People are dumb and the record label knows this, so they pimp out their crap "musicians" to the dumb people who will buy anything they are told to. These dumbfucks have had this shitty music thrown in their faces all their lives, they don't even know what good music is anymore. They care more about the artists image and keeping up with the latest trend then their music. It is a business, why would the record labels go out looking for good musicians when they can take terrible ones and make lots of money off them? And yes, Pearl Jam blows balls. I hold Vedder single-handedly responsible for the disturbing trend of this pseudo Jim Morrison like deep voice singing, that lacks the sound and soul of Morrison and therefore sounds like a shitty, pale imitation. i.e. post grunge and most modern rock bands.

My Bad! I've been converted *) -------------------------------------------------------------Now I'm totally embarresed and shocked! ---------------- I should have done some research on Grunge Rock DUH!!! --------------------- I thought Grunge Rock consisted of songs that involved the lead singer screaming unaudible lyrics !!!!! ------------------- I'm a super big fan of Nine Inch Nails !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've downloaded at least 60 dollars worth of NIN from iTunes. ---------------------------------Also, I have one CD on my iPod of "Alice in Chains" ----------------------------Whenever I wake up and want to KICK the Roses I blast NIN's They can start a great VIBE and day! Thanks so much for educating me on this. *) ---------------- Personally I like music that gets my mind and toes moving. --------------One last line - "SKUXX" -------About Nirvana------- I've listened to about 5 hours of thier music and there's nothing wrong with it at all and I can understand why there is still a big following - They were a great band that lost it's way too soon due to the saddness with the way it crashed. I wonder: Did they ever get going again with a new writer and replacement for Cobain?˜.. --------------------------------------------------My favorite groups are:Led Zeppelin,-----Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music--------- Modest Mouse ---------- and Gorrilizz ----------------------------------------------Then tons more that I like when I not listening to the above mentioned.
