What would you like to see from a seedbank?

A full time lapse grow video for most of the strains. See what your getting into, in like 3 minutes.

More pictures or info at the least. I want to interact with the plants right through the internet. Observe the different phenotypes and their growth structures. With enough information, I can do that in my head, and daydream about it.

I know its asking too much, but I want to see it, feel it, smell it, before I buy it.
What's up man!

My biggest hang up is not the breeders or the strains listed. It’s the lack of description. It would be nice to hear from the breeder why they selected the phenos they bred with and what types of terps, expressions you can expect with out going out to “look” for a strains info on a website like “leafly.”
Cannabis has evolved. Genetics have improved. And so has breeding and the descriptions they don’t provide could be a knowledge of wealth for making choices on what you want to run or buy.
I want to know more about what the breeder went through to get to the “drop” you’re looking at. I want to know what these strains meant to them and what they found in their own words. They reach into our pockets for the funds to buy the genetics I want to reach into their mind and give me the reason to buy it.
Thank you. Been trying to do that, especially with new strains or strains I don't know from personal experience.
Can be like pulling teeth sometimes getting info from breeders though.

Good calls! Working on adding more pics but can't find a nice enough layout yet. I want something easy to navigate but has all the relevant info.

We'll also be crediting where the pics come from, if it's from us directly or someone growing on instagram.

First I want to say I LOVE the P.Y.O. option, not many doing that. The nude models (men and women) are rather played out, c'mon they have strains named after porn stars, my big one is honesty. Special lighting for photos, dyes added to watering, I know it looks prettier but it's a lie. I'm seeing a lot of seed banks that never update their photos. Sensi is a perfect example, they have the same pics they did a decade ago. Stay current.

Was joking around with the pics. Not really something we want to do. Bit tacky in this day and age as well.

Photos, we're working on. You hit the nail on the head with the pics. Don't like using our own as those are under ideal conditions etc. Almost cheating.

Ah for the love of god make it easier to buy from the U.K. I’ve looked a few times and the Canada only debit transactions are what have put me off. Also the filter system mentioned earlier would be brilliant.

btw I love the way you guys say abit more than the breeders about the seeds, germ guide etc! Really good for newbies when it comes to selecting something

My man!

Just thinking, about how I would pay a premium for better descriptions like that.

Hoping to incentivize the breeders themselves to document the grows. Not like personally invading their lives, as fan boys and haters or anything, just more about the plants they grow.

You made a timelapse\log of your strain? That's worth an extra 20$ on top, per pack IMO... thanks!

Pics Under ideal conditions, is fine, perfect honestly but when there are pics like "red jack" and the like out there, well never see that in a plant, it can be discouraging.

Oh! Clearances! Seeds been sitting for too long (2+ years)offer them to your loyal customer base at discount.

Maybe send seeds with Jiffy pucks? Add a little too the cost, yeah, but for newbs, should help them get started on the right foot.

I think this pic was stored on a 64mb Sony memory stick, the rest were corrupted so this is all that's left. Come on sensi...

We're good there. We do ship to the UK and accept credit cards from there.

Thank you! That's something we try to keep updated as well. Based on personal experience mostly

We usually keep smaller batches (we're a small operation tbh) so they move pretty quick. Anything that nears the end we kinda prefer to give away or try a grow off with them.

I do like the jiffy puck idea but Canuk (I think, either them or True North) already do that. We'd wanna be more unique lol

I only expect a few things from any bank. Im getting what I ordered, reasonably priced, acceptable speed. Here’s something though how about instead of freebies of your choice maybe after so many sales in value or just orders placed a pack of buyers choice. Like place 5 orders over 50 pick a free pack off site
Not a bad idea at all. If we've built up some rapport with the buyer we do tend to throw in something they've been looking for, for free.
I think your idea is better and makes more sense though.

Availability :weed:
Communication (is actually #1)
Transparency
Variety

edit: loyalty/referral programs are cool.
Availability we've struggled with, especially with other breeders that we carry. Mostly sorted out our own issues but always trying to improve there too.

I like to think we're pretty good on that. Overnight messages is the biggest problem though. But during the day we try to reply as fast as possible.

Transparency is a good one. Found the easiest way to fix a screw up, is admit we screwed up, apologise and ask how to fix it.

We keep adding new breeders and more of our own strains but we're slow there. Like to be sure of something before we release it.

I know what you mean, I really like Irvine seeds co's tester/reward program.

It 's really simple. #1 If you can offer Top Notch Quality Products.
#2 Get the product to the customer in a business like manner.
#3 Offer the best customer service in the business.
#4 If you going to offer Freebies for monies spent then, give the customer a pool if strains to choose from.
#5 As to photos show a picture of the whole plant as well as that Blue Ribbon Bud picture.

Best of Luck!

Well, I legitimately thought this was the correct forum to ask questions in a more casual setting.

If not, I'll ask one of the mods to move it to the giveaway or advertising section.
