What you got???

Right now I only have a Ghost Corn Snake, small Painter Turtle, a Ring Neck Snake, and a cat. At one time I had eleven aquariums. A two foot Snakehead, two Snapping turtles, a Horned Frog that ate full grown mice, several large Black Rat Snakes, two exotic rabbits, a very large Oscar, a Cayman Crocc, a three foot Green Iguana, and a few tanks with lots of mixed aquatic life. I trained the snails to eat small blood worms from off of my finger. I loved it! Strangers would often knock on my door and ask if they could see "the animals." People used to bring me all kinds of animals. Reminds me of somethin funny..One night I heard a cricket in my house. I got a tape recorder and recorded it. I placed the recorder in the middle of the floor and played it. After a few seconds, this cricket comes out from behind the wall trim and hops right onto the recorder. It just sat there on top of the speaker. Funny thing was that I was lying on the floor with my hands directly on the recorder, but the cricket didn't mind a bit. Freaked me out!

Unfortunately I'm not in the position to have any pets at the moment. I had some lovely Lion Headed Rabbits in my last house but had to give them a different home when we moved. I am in the process of purchasing a red footed tortoise though. Cant wait.

I had an Old English Sheepdog when I was a lad. Someday I will have another. I love them dogs.

Unless its a posinous snake then why all the panic & killing,i'll never understand a man who feels the need to kill an animal because he's afraid of it.

Why not just walk away & let the snake do its thing, which in most cases is controling rodent populations.

I had a Burmese Python & an Albino Burmese Python for several years, the Standard Burmese grew to 16 feet in length, her name was Dynamo & she was an awesome pet,i'd let her climb the big oak tree in our yard & she'd stay there until dark, then come back down & wait at the front door once it started cooling off.

Most Snakes are friendly creatures that dont want to harm anybody, normally the only time non venemous snakes strike at humans is when they first enter molt, which is the time right before they shed their skin, their eye's turn a deep cloudy blue & the snake is blind, they strike because they are afraid not angry.

Ive owned all kinds of snakes over the years, the coolest was called a Northern Pine Snake,he was bad as hell,he would coil up & puff up his body with each breath, then he'd make a loud hissing sound to scare off predators,it was neat to watch.

When our python would escape she allways went to the same spot,we'd find her in the hot tub, she'd stay in there as long as we'd let her.

Ever let your snakes lounge in a warm bath ?

it all depends i got into them cause my dads snake so i got a ball python for a begginer had him for 3 years now he hides all day comes out at night once and a while and the girls seem to really like snakes to for some odd reason i wonder lol:) but anyways thats why i want those other snakes cause the tree python hangs there in the open and the brb likes the day and will roam around and maybe a few differnt kinds of carpete pythons they like to sit on a perch during the day i just find snakes so kool and there escape artists to always lookin for a way out the cage and scorpions are kool to but i hate spiders exept for the one i have it use to worrie me all the time having the spider but its like hes not even there made a huge web around the back of the tank fed him a mouse once and it jumped on it and that was the end to that mouse lol
