probably because its a little pissed that its leaves are being ripped off,,,,,,,,,,,the shape of the leaf has nothing to do with nothing on a cannabis plant.my advice slap your mum and give your plant some love

yaa... but... all the leaves had 4 lil leaf things before my mom ripped it off.. she ripped it off 2 show me theirs only 4..
so u people r saying that my plant is still okay?

leave it alone let it grow on its own natural way. just quench her thirst when shes thirsty

its not the number of leafs, its the nodes, depending on where you got the plant(some seed outta some bag?) or if it was a clone.?If it was a seed likely it may need to be sexed. The number of leaf fingers(thats not the right name), isnt an indication of male or female, only the nodes are and the only way to find that out is to turn the plant wait around two weeks and check to see if the pods at the nodes are opening down or up. Down its male, up its female.Usually its the width of the "fingers" that indicate possible sex, not the number, is my understanding and not all the time just an sometime accurate indication. If it is a male let it go and you can sex all the seeds that come off of it and have more..if the answer is that its a clone off of female then do what bongo says and slap yer mom, and love yer plant.
