When can i Top/FIM my plants

Hey guys, I was just wondering when i can top/fim my plants, theyre both exactly 2 weeks since sprouting... And also when can i start veg nutes, all replies much appreciated..

In order to know when to add veg nutes we need to know what medium you are using?

Soil?
Coco?
Etc?

Also I like to wait until plants grown from seed have around 7 nodes before topping.

I personally don't FIM any more but when I did I would wait until I topped and the plants had recovered.

If you are using a soil that contains nutrients then usually a transplant would be required into a larger pot and if you're using soil this then gives the plants more nutrients without you needing to add any.

If you are using coco then feeding almost straight away is required.


Its also a good idea when asking for advice with plants to provide pictures out of HPS light to give a good representation of plant colour.

I agree you can start giving low nutes at this point, I always start careful at around 1/4th of the recommended amount.

Since u got ur answer for the Fim/TOP, I wonder if you already knew about LST? It's less stressful and gives good results.

Yeah i know about the lst method, i plan on using this aswell as topping to maximise my yield

I wen't ahead ond topped yesterday morning, I think i did the FiM this time as i wanted to see the results compared to regular topping, Hopefully I've done it right? can get better pics if needed
