We all know that while the flavor and quality of a hit from a good glass piece is always preferable to just about any other method, we also know they have the fatal flaw of being fragile, and even worse glass fragile around stoners who's librium has lost it's equal.
However I have been told on several occasions of pieces that have died 'honorably in the line of duty.' To me this extends to any situation where even though the piece got broken, great fun was being had in the process and the loss of the piece couldn't be mourned for any longer than to pay short homage. So broken while cleaning doesn't count.
Anyone have stories of pieces that bit the dust but did so in a manner that must be retold?
