When is Sex determined?

i heard all kinds of chemicals too - including aspirin! and i still don't know and the seed banks don't seem to be sharing that info

from what i know feminized seeds are seeds that have been created on un-pollinated female plants.

But I thought female plants don't have seeds, or they'd be male? Im so confused.....

i think how it goes is you make clones and flower them and keep the female tht means they female genetics. so what they do is force stress on them and try to turn them into male or hermie. but since they were female they have no male genetics in them and pollinating the female would leave you wit a fully female genetic plant. i might be wrong but i think thts how its done or somthing similar.

Some are made by stressing a female plant into hermaphroditism, some are made by treating seeds with gibberelic acid. Many respectable breeders will tell you which method they use.

But if you stress a female to hermaphroditism, wont it also give you hermaphroditic seed?
