I would go ahead and trim the bleached leaves, but there's no other reason to trim until way later on. My plants get a pruning when I top them, then I will prune off leaves if the plant is so bushy that it makes me concerned about a lack of airflow going through the plant, and then I will clear out lower growth and budding branches that won't make it to the top of the canopy in early flower. The leaves fuel growth so leave them on as much as you can.

No, you don't have to top them but, if you are limited in vertical space, then you will need to do some LST (Low Stress Training) to them to prevent them from getting too close to the lights. They will double, and sometimes triple, in height during the first few weeks of flower.

im growing outside in my backyard so im ok with them getting tall, also should i turn them through ojt the day so the sun gets to see both sides or just leave them and let mother nature do its thing

I wouldnt trim anything, the plant will utilize those leaves and they will fall off on there own. If you notice one side of the plants branches are growing longer than the other you can rotate that side towards the sun, I do that with mine on the back deck. Since you have two plants you can top one and leave the other alone, see how it turns out, I like to top once.

Listen to this smart response. You are outdoors where there is unlimited light available. This is not a beauty contest, its a grow and you want to build it up as fast as possible. Bigger means more. Looks good, dont take away something just because its not perfect.

That said yes you cut right next to the main stem. Let it grow as mentioned they will fall off eventually until then let the plant decide.

I see no reason to trim the any leaves off those. I like mine bushy and just keep air moving through the tent.

Ok thank you! Mine are outside though its usually always windy where i live in chilliwack bc canada but sometimes gets to windy being in the fraser valley, so i put them behind my shed up on a table the sun shines on them all day back there and blocks most the wind so should i put a fan on them ?

If they get a breeze back there then they should be fine. If there isn’t any natural airflow then a fan would help.

Sorry for the minor thread hijack, but I really like that rail you've got at the perimeter for the fans. Would you mind taking a pic of one of the corners so we can get an idea of how you've connected to the corner posts?
Ya thats a wicked set up when I get a grow tent id like to set up the fans like that to

They are those straps you use to support wire harnesses. They didn’t grip the poles as tightly as I hoped, so I added some zip ties around the pole to add more friction, and now it hold where I slide it to. It can be a little finicky, though, because I have to move the back corners one at a time.
