When should I top?

Is it too early/late to top this plant, sorry this is my first grow and I'm trying not to make any mistakes.

Should I cut the little 2 in the middle?
Also the plant is very short will topping be a problem?

pics have gone, 2 in the middle? topping this short will never be a problem, iv'e been doing it without any problems for over a decade

Way too early, i only top if it throws up a shoot otherwise its pointless if your plant turns out to be short and fat.

Did I top it right?

Personally, I like to wait until it has 5-6 nodes, then top down to the fourth.

From your picture, your plant still looks too young to top; patience is key!

Nah man, don't sweat it! Cannabis plants are surprisingly resilient. Keep taking care of it and it will bounce back nicely.

How do you think it's looking today after fimming?

I top at 2 weeks or so and then again couple weeks later then veg for 4-5 and then flower

Shit man. No one here is willing to tell you this but I'm gonna.

When you top a weed plant to early. It converts itself into spinach.

It will be freaking yummy.

But all jokes aside. It looks good. Just keep the love on it brother.

Do you think it's a good idea that I tied the bottom branches to pull them more towards the light and tied the top leaves to spread them so the new growth can receive more light also?

Yes of course. Its called low stress training. It is the least invasive way to increase yields from your crop.

Its the right thing to do for your babies.

Thanks for your reply, also my leaves on top are wrinkled up on the edges and waxy, what do you think the problem could be?

I have never run into it so I dont know the answer. I generally only know answers when I have run into an issue and had to fix it tbh.

I suggest posting that question in the Marijuana problems section. Or searching the site with those keywords.
