When should I top?

I have never run into it so I dont know the answer. I generally only know answers when I have run into an issue and had to fix it tbh.

From a quick search of the site. It seems the #1 culprit for this is heat stress. Have you had any heat issues that could cause this?
I had my 300w light a little close and the lumens were at 28k, so in general as I've read that's fine, although I noticed it was getting a little warm (33°c), so I raised my light a little and somehow the temperature dropped to around 29-31°c. Also I added a bowl of water which kept my humidity stable at 55%, do you think I'll notice the changes on the affected leaves or on the new growth only?

From what I've seen on my plants most of the time the affected leaves will change and recover. However if it just a mutation which happens especially on newer plants at 1st it will not change but it will be fine anyway.

The plant is so new I wouldn't really worry much about the old growth as much as what comes out going forward.
