When to begin flush???

Hi, I know some of you thinks a flush is not needed. but with this grow i've had problems with nute lockout/burn, because my ph pen was giving me a false reading.

my plant stopped growing for about 2 weeks when ph hit 4.7. will it still finish on schedule?

I've read so much info and seen so many pics of plants that are ready to be harvested. can someone please show me some that are 1-2 weeks away? how should trics look to begin flush?

btw, i'm using 4" rockwool on ebb & flow.

Thankyou

IMO you do NOT want to flush your plants for 2weeks in a hydro system.

This will cause some serious deficiencies and ultimately a loss in yield.

IF YOU MUST FLUSH wait until they are ready to chop and "flush" for around 5days.

Wait until the pistils have receded back into the calyx and calyx will take on a darker appearance and feel quite hard and pointy to the touch. Flush at this point.

Personally I use a wilma4 pot with 1X1 rockwool starters in hydroton and I just reduce my current strength by a third for the final 2 weeks.

My bad did not read properly i read it at like 3am.. Anyway jond pretty much said it, the only time you want to flush is when the plant is actually ready, some pure water just before havesting will only help get rid of excess nutes and a shit chemically taste in the weed

This is not the case. A proper dry and cure sorts this out. NOT PURE WATER.

the reason weeds pops sparkles or tastes bad is because it wasn't dried and cured right.
