Check CRAIGSLIST in your area under FARM N GARDEN. People are always selling used hydro equipment.

plantlightinghydroponics has the botanicare flats for about the cheapest price and shipping around. Use them you'll be happy. Just compare prices, then put it in the cart and calculate the shipping. you'll easily save $50-100 on those trays ordering in.

HTG sucks. Slow shipping, non responsive customer service. HIGH prices, and to boot everything except one inline fan (all 3 others have) i bought from them has broken. Their room fans arrived non working with a higher cost to ship back than it would to just fork out for another places air kings. Their inline fans were unballanced and rattled themselves appart all except for one. If they are making their own trays or sourcing cheaper ones than other places Lord help you. I'd much rather buy stuff that doesn't break.

if you dont mind round pans.....home depot had fairly large round plastic pans to put under waterheaters. They even come with a fitting to set up drainage.

The lowes trays work ok, they dont drain well for flood/drain applications. Make GREAT growing beds or hold two-three slabs..
