I use a canfan... it has great power but does generate some noise... hang with bungee cords really reduces the noise... good luck on your fan hunt brother

a ducy fan is not an inline fan. A duct fan helps an inline fan out. An inlne fan is what you need if a fan is what you need. I mean that a duct fan wont really do much. More like air current.

Go to eBay. CHEAP! Or craigslist. Never know when you find a 50 dollar one. I use a 6 in for a 400 and a 600 watt but I am upgrading to a 8 in for my 600 as it is hot here. THey are loud but just hanging my 6 in the tent on bungees made the sound on a valuline easy to stand in my bedroom. I have to valulines. They make some noise. It goes away fast with any dampeneing efforts. Blankest insulated ducts, mufflers. All that works times ten. SO if money is your goal, then prob a valuline is the way to go.

duct fan is the same thing you can use them any way you want if your trying to cool of lights then you just hook your flexible ducting to it either in one side to push air or the other side to pull it out or you can put it in the ducting inline or whatever there really is no need for those pricy hydro ones just because they say they are for growing
