White widow micro cfl grow dwc

Hey guys this is my little experiment i have made a little dwc bucket with a 20L bucket that i had lying around, im going to paint it black in the next couple of days. Originaly i was growing in soil but i made a soil with peat moss perlite and vermiculite but didnt realise that the ph was way to low and i stunted the plant so i washed the soil off the roots and put it in my homemade dwc bucket. I bought a ph pen and tds, i also already had a rodi unit from my old marine fish tank so am using that, i also only have house and garden soil a/b nutes but will try and get some hydro nutes in the next week.

The yellow leaves are from nute lockout in the soil,

She has perked up heaps in the last two days since i have swapped to hydro nutes and root excelurator

Stick with organic nutes biobiz ect, and if possible try to get your cfl's a bit closer to reduce any stretch, how old is she ?

It is like 4weeks old but only been in dwc bucket for 8 days had a few issues with the roots but they seem to be really throwing some out now though, also i move the lights out to take photos etc then put them a couple of inches away when done, she got heaps stunted in the soil i made and i was alreadymaking a dwc bucket.

Just done a bit of low stress training i think its called but yeah im thinking of swapping this to a 400w hps? Any thoughts on hps or over kill? I have a 3ftx6ft area also i can get a couple of fans in there for temp, its nearly autum in australia atm so its pretty cool

I just bought some professor nutes veg booster and added to the rez, see how she responds to it over the next week

Hey guys the grow is still going just had a lot going on on the homefront atm... but i did flip 12/12 a week and a half ago and also a pretty heavy defol ill try get some pictures up tomorrow seems to be going good though

Looking fine. Why not buy a quantum led kit for the space, they will reward you 10 fold.,
My own grow in a diy cab using 4xquantum boards, running at 400 watts, can go to 600W.

Im going to see if i can grow a little plant, its definitely addictive though, then ill have a good look into making a grow room and take advantage of the sapce

Thanks mate its exciting when i come home from work and go straight into the grow room and see how she is going. I just want to learn the whole process with no heat thus the cfl's before i look at a half decent setup, also to see if i have the patients lol
