Well my first attempt was a semi success. The plant grew great but ended up being a male/hermie (a link to my other grow https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/95301-first-hydro-grow-w-pics.html ). This time im going with 7 plants and hope to spot out the males before the roots get very tangled.

I used the paper towel method with a plate and bowl. I placed them on top of my cable box and watered about ever 8 hours. I got these results within 2 1/2 days. Right now they are under a 30wtt florescent. They will get switched over to a 150wtt florescent next week, 400mh after that, then 400HPS.

I am very impressed with the results of this germ. Usually it takes me 4-5 days to get these kind of results. I normally dont put it on my cable box (it drys FAST) but maybe i will for now on.

will keep thread updated daily.

Neat!! That looks almost like an Egg sunny side up in the middle there. I thought you had maybe spilled breakfast on it.

instead of messing with root try sniping the male off
let the roots die and they will wash away
not sure if this would promote unwanted mold or something..
i am a soil grower
just an idea

3 days from seed and ALL 5 of my WW plants have roots out the bottom of the cups already. I was told this strain is very hard to germ but so far im 100% success with it.

Ill have updated pics of this grow on a daily basis. Usually pics will be updated around 9pm EST.

They look like the are stretching fo light! Get your light closer, at this stage they should be 1/3 that height.

do you have a bubble machine in there (air stone).................................................?
Not in the little white thing in the pictures. There is no need for it because the roots dont sit in the water. once they are long enough that they sit in the water they get x-fered into my other system.

On day 10 12/12. 3 Definite females, 1 definite male (removed already in pictures) one possible hermie. The second picture is the picture of the plant in question. "It" has pistils all over except for the one area i took a picture of. What do you guys think?

The last 3 are pictures of definite females.

The roots belonging to the male that was removed were left in the tank. They were severely tangled and could not be removed without harming the others. Im keeping a close on the them but they are yet to turn color or get soggy.
