You must wait and earn some chops before you can start giving out advice. It isn't a reputation thing, it's an accuracy thing, and you just don't know.

The best to use is Reverse Osmosis filtered water or Tap water.

RO water is best used in recirculating systems where build-up can be an issue. It is also very important when growing in larger cities with poor quality tap water, especially if the water has been recycled. If the ppm is over 300 then you most definitely should be using filtered water. Anything over a 0.3EC I'd suggest at least sediment filtering with a Brita.

Tap water in most places is fine so long as it is clean. My tap water in the Pacific North West, in the 3rd largest city in Oregon, is about 0.12EC (60ppm). So there is clean water available from your tap if you are in the right place. Check your water report for more information

Clean water is important. Generally RO water can be purchased from the water machines in front of grocery stores for $0.25 to $0.35 per gallon. In metropolitan areas water delivery services are surprisingly inexpensive starting at under $20 a month for all the water you'd need for your grow delivered right to your door.

Distilled and Deionized water are not suited for growing. They are cost prohibitive as well.

Back the lights up a bit and sure.

You shouldn't do it all the time though. Make this a one time thing and it won't be a big deal.

Foliar feed in the mornings. If you need to neem then you shouldn't be using nutrients.

Like Snow Crash mentions, you better make sure you know the answer. Here you better know why it is the right one. Just repeating an answer may not be right if their set up is different. Distilled water is good to use for calibrating a pH pen, but horrible for plants, NOT best.

I'd be more concerned if they were facing the other direction. Could be genetic. Could be that your plants are just uptaking at the moment and growing very well. Either way... I'd run with it.

Your stems are a little thin, and stretched between nodes. If you are using lower wattage lights it could be they are being kept too far and the plant is "reaching" for the light. Take a look into kelp extracts and Bushmaster if you'd like to try and control the stretching.

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice a lot!! These poor plants have had the roughest of a rough life.. For the first 4 weeks into veg I only had them under one 75 watt grow light (lol) Noob Move. So, to make up for the mess up I let them veg for 8 full weeks before switching to 12/12.. Now they are growing like crazy and budding every where.

The tallest is 55 inches tall and 41 inches wide.. Why so bushy??? I originally started off with 5 and ended up with 3 females.. I couldnt imagine having 5 plants that big and bushy in that closit...lol

Lights: I now am running 18 26 watt 2,700k CFL'S..

Im on day 23 of 12/12 and they are still growing vertically, starting to worry me cause i only have 2 foot more of space, I have a couple questions for ya again..lol

1. Do they look right for being in their 23rd day of 12/12? The only nutes I have used is MG BLOOM BOOSTER 1X AND GRANDMAS MOLASSIS 3X'S.

What makes them so bushy? and will they ever stop growing vertically and just budd'n up?? Sorry for the noob questions..lol

These plants have had a very stressful life like i mentioned, I have dropped my light bar on them 3 TIMES!!! power was off for 4 days, the heat has been up into the 90's for several days...I mean, I cant believe these ladies are still alive...lol

I just lowered my light bar and it is about 3 inches from the tops now, hopefully that will stop the stretching!!

ok yeah i just tested my tap water and it is 403 ppm WTF is that even safe lol. so RO water huh cool. and also i keep reading about grow journals, should i start one?

You don't need to use CO2 no matter how many plants you are growing.
Just make sure you have plenty of fresh air flowing through.

You can start a journal if you'd like but you're not going to get much attention with it.

Yes you can.
No you shouldn't.

I don't even use peat pellets for transplanting into soil... I hate the little things.

Why are you using peat pellets? If you have access to the internet you can get whatever you need shipped right to the door.

Rock wool is the standard. You can check out Sure2Grow cubes and Rapid Rooters too.

Hey guys, I hope I'm not stealing anyones thunder, but I have a question about cloning Auto Flowering plants. I'm growing in potting soil and have had no luck getting clones to take off. I've read that using AFing plants can take longer, but I have dead clones after about two weeks. what am I doing wrong?
I'm using clean tools all cleaned with Hydrogen Peroxide, Bottom of clones cut at an angle then dipped in rooting hormon. Then planted in dirt Clones are then placed about 12 inches from the lights
HPS and MH. soil PH is about a 6.5. I water a small amount everyday and mist them two sometimes three times a day.
The stand is easy rider. I choose it because I figured that since they are easier to grow that would transfer to easier cloning

Can anyone give me advice on autoflowers, I will be growing easy rider, which is apparently autoflower, I didn't know this when I ordered the seeds. I am new to all of this and dont know really how they work.
I just read they cant be cloned, but have no idea why, as I was also planning to do this I know that they can be run on 18hrs light a day from start to bud, but other than that what is the difference?
This may sound dumb, but are they all females, im wondering due to the name? if not are they easy to sex early? since I will be stuck with this strain for now any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I grow & get denser buds. They finish very sticky caked with resin, though they are fluffy when finished?
