Why do conservatives tend to hate rap?

maybe that is because people did not have 60 inch televisions back in the 1980s and 90s to rap about ?

I'm sure you can. I'm just saying that rap does take skill. It doesn't create itself.

I'm probably a rarity. I like all music from classical to rap and everything in between.

That`s correct. Used to be that profanity, violence and drugs were forbidden in the music business, .. but then Black people had that changed and so the kids are buying it all up.

I will never appreciate Gangsta Rap,...it`s totally non talented trash to me, but others, ...not so much.

The hard part is getting it recorded by promoters, not everyone can print 1,000,000 CD`s at home in a week.

I believe you are mistaken. I've hung out behind the scenes. Drugs have always been involved. Even in gospel. Lol.

People put their life in lyrics. Rap didn't start drugs and violence in music. Country, rock, metal all have violence and drugs in it.

I'm not going to argue this. You are prejudice and it shows.
