Thank you very much for the info. When I have all of my equipment up (1 x 1kW HPS, 1 x 600W HPS, 2 x 400W MH, and the odd 100-200 watts of CFL for random pollen plants, cloner tent and such), I'm about ~$175/month, at $0.935 for the first 1,350 kWh and $0.1403 for any kWh after that (averaged across two months).
All of my fans, controllers, exhaust and ancillary stuff is run off of my solar setup, so they don't hit my bill.

I grow for my wife too. She's a daily wake and bake and smoke all day. I use only at night when I hit the bed for my Restless Leg Syndrome.
However, my wife does 75% or more of all the trimming, and she's always available to help with any other aspect of the indoor grows.

Restless legs is a bitch isn't it? I deal with it to. My wife has Lupus so I provide her the green and she likes to experiment with topicals, tinctures, edibles etc. We both found what we enjoy.

I prefer edibles (we make a crap ton of different stuff), then vape. Everything else actually compounds it (the RLS) most of the time, so if I want to get high recreationally, I hit the bong a couple hours before laying down, then eat or vape about an hour before I go to sleep.

I was born pretty much at the end of the Vietnam conflict so although I've read a lot about it, I could only imagine which jungle you prefer being in.
